Appendix surgery

Part 2

Nathan sat in the A&E waiting room while Axel sat with Mark; nurses and doctors were sorting out Mark, a doctor turned round to Axel and began speaking to him. "Mark Evans", the doctor called, Axel and Nathan got up to see the doctor. "He has appendicitis, he's already on his way to surgery", the doctor said. Mark was pushed out of A&E; dressed in a tie up gown; pushed through Inazuma hospital, up in the lifts; and into a operating room, Nathan and Axel showed up not long after and waved goodbye. Nathan and Axel sat outside the room; waiting for Mark to finished.

Eight minutes later the sign above the door switched off; Mark was wheeled out of the operating room and went past Axel and Nathan; Mark was on a breathing ventilator and was fast asleep. They wheeled Mark into a ward and a room. They moved him to the other bed in the room and made it comfy, then the nurses left and the doctor turned round to Axel and Nathan. "The surgery was success guy, he should be awake in a few hours", Sam's sister Stella said, Nathan and Axel nodded in agreement. They sat down next to Mark and waited for him to wake up, later that evening Axel and Nathan returned from the hospital. "How is he", Jude asked. "He's alright, asleep at the moment", Axel told him. "Do you what was wrong with him", Silva asked. "He had appendicitis", Nathan replied, everyone, walked into the dining room and eat dinner.

Axel's POV

Later that evening I laid in bed, thinking about Mark; just then my bedroom door opened and Nathan walked in. "I thought u were awake", he said. "Yeah", I said, Nathan climbed in my bed and laid down; a long silence filled my bedroom. "I wonder if he's ok", Nathan said; breaking the silence. "He will be fine", I said. I fell asleep; Nathan laid awake before falling asleep. The next morning I woke up and crawled out of bed; trying not to disturb Nathan, I walked downstairs and got myself a drink; I walked back upstairs and got back into bed. Sometime later me and Nathan we got up and we got dressed. "Morning", Max said as I and Nathan walked into the living room at lunchtime, I grabbed some instant ramen for me and Nathan and began eating. "So when are you going to visit Mark", Byron asked. "We were planning to do that after lunch", I replied. After we finished our ramen me and Nathan left the house to the hospital.

Normal POV

When Axel and Nathan arrived at the hospital, they went up to Mark's room. Mark was the same as yesterday. Axel and Nathan took a seat next to Mark's bed. Slowly Mark began to stir, he couldn't open his eyes from the light blinding him. He finally was able to open his eyes. "Mark", Nathan said, coming Mark's area of sight, Axel helped Mark take off the mask. "What happened", Mark said groggily. "You suffered appendicitis, the doctor had to remove it", Axel replied calmly. "S-sick", Mark said. It took Nathan and Axel a couple of seconds to realise mark was gonna puke. Axel quickly sat mark up and Nathan quickly put a sick bucket in front of Mark, Mark vomited into the bucket; puking up only bile. When Mark finished puking Axel later him back down. For the rest of the afternoon, Mark slipped in and out of consciousness. When evening Mark fell asleep and Nathan and Axel went home. "Your back", Shawn said. "How is he", asked Jude. "He's fine, he's awake, he wasn't really with it for most of the afternoon", Axel replied.

The next day Axel and Nathan went back to the hospital this time with Shawn, Steve , Kevin and Byron. When they arrived at Mark's, Mark was already awake and had just finished eating lunch. "Hey guys", Mark said happily. "You seemed better today", Axel replied. "The doctor said I can go home tomorrow afternoon, but I'm not allowed to play soccer", Mark whined. "Yeah we will keep you well away from kicking a ball around", Axel said sarcastically. Mark and the others talked for a bit. "Guys can u step outside for a bit", asked Axel, they nodded and left the room. Axel looked a Mark for a bit before kissing him, Mark and Axel got into a deep, passionate kiss which made them moan a bit. Axel broke the kiss due to the lack of air, both of them red in the face. "Axel sorry to bother you but the guys are heading home for training", Nathan called through the small crack in the door. "I'm gonna go home and do some training", Axel said. "Ok", Mark replied, Nathan came in when Axel left. He and Mark laid down on the bed and watched some Takeshi's Castle on Nathan's phone. That afternoon the next day Mark left the hospital in a wheelchair. Four weeks later Mark had almost fully healed and was back in the goal blocking shots.
