When Rose woke up the next morning she found that when she opened her eyes it was still dark. She realized that there was a ball of fluff blocking her vision. She laughed and gently pushed her kitten off her face. She then stretched and rolled off the bed. Yawning she walked over to the enormous closet and pick out a long baby blue dress and a pair of matching heels. She walked to the massive bathroom and took a quick shower and put the outfit on. She pet her kitten and walked out of her room making sure she closed the door.
She quietly walked down the hall trying to find any sign of life. She turned a corner and ran right into something falling backwards. "Oh! I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going!" She said standing back up. She looked at the person she had run into, it was a boy a not much older than herself. They both stared at each other until the boys eyes widened and he stepped backwards. "Your highness! No need to apologize! It was my fault it was I who was not looking." She smiled at him. "It's okay. Anyway could you point me in the direction of the dining hall please?" He nodded at pointed in the direction he had come from. "It is that way your highness." Rose nodded "Thanks! See you around!" She said waving and then walking off. She reached the dining hall to see that her mother was already there though she had not started eating. When her Mother saw her she smiled. " Rose dear come and sit, you must be starving." She nodded and walked over to the table and sat down next to her mother. She couldn't recognize any of the food but she was never a picky eater. She happily dug in and was pleasantly surprised in what she tasted. It tasted like chocolate covered strawberry's but it looked like a muffin. It was delicious. It was easily her new favorite food. "I have some meetings to attend to this morning. But as soon as I am finished I will answer your questions." She said breaking the silence. Rose's mouth was still full of the delicious what ever the food was. So she simply nodded. Her mother excused her self and went to her meetings. Rose sat there thinking of how weird her life was becoming. 'Oh well.' She thought sighing. She wondered back to her room thinking of questions to ask her mother.
