*FlashBack* "BabyGirl, Come on we have to go" Those were the unforgettable, yet confusing words my mother spoke as she filled up our bags. I didn't understand those words then or now, but I would understand those words SOON! "What!?" "What do you mean we're leaving?" I asked over and over again watching her pack. But she didn't answer me and she wasn't going to answer me. She just continued to pack our stuff without looking up or saying anything. "Are we going to a sleepover?" I tried asking her. She still didn't respond. Instead she told me to go get my toothbrush from the bathroom. That day I really thought we were going to a sleepover. I grabbed my toothbrush and just as I was coming back I heard a slam & glass shattering. I ran to where my mommy was and seen a brick next to her and her digging in the frame that was left of the now broken mirror gathering wads and wads of cash. I gave my toothbrush to her and she packed it in my bag. "Jay, Baby, Can you promise mommy that you'll be brave for me? She asked me grabbing my jacket and putting it on me. After that was said I was 100% sure we weren't going to a sleepover. I became scared and confused. "But mommy, I dont understand" I whined. "Just please Baby, for me." she begged, while she put on her jacket and grabbed the cash & bags. "Okay. . . Fine. I promise" I said finally. She grabbed my hand and we walked past the living room and towards the front door.

Something isnt right, I thought to myself. I turned back just before she shut the door and thats when I seen him. "Him" referring to my father, on the floor of the living room, covered with blood. Dead. Tears began to well in my eyes and then drip down my face. We walked until we reach a strange Black SUV. She put only my bags in the back seat & then I got in the back seat. "Jaylissa, Baby, I'm going to come back for you but for right now you need to stay with Izabella" (Her Mom's Best friend ) "Okay Mommy.." I said still crying. "Please don't cry baby, Jay, for me." She begged me once more.  "Can I at least say bye to Ray" I whined, wiping my eyes, I am and always was a strong girl. Ray had been my best friend since birth. She knew I loved him and we did everything together and it would kill her inside to say no, so instead she ignored the question. "Take this Baby" She said giving me the wad of cash she took from the mirror." I looked up to see Izabella tearing up in the driver's seat. Even mommy was crying everybody was so sad, I just didn't understand why. "But mommy what about Ray-" I whined until she cut me off by giving me a kiss on the cheek & placing a necklace around my neck.  "I love you Jaylissa, See you soon." were the last words I heard 6 years ago.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I'm Jaylissa Larin,  Pronounced ( JAY-LISS-A) I am 15 years old. I have two brown eyes full of an untold story and a smile on my lips that will never tell anybody that story. ANYBODY . . .
