The Battle of The Dragons

i could see the fear in her eyes she began to run and i ran right behind her she faster  than me we heard the rumble again as we pushed for the trees to get inside the shadows to be safe from what was coming then we heard a rumble as if all around us she and i stopped i looked across at her "we should go back!"i said over the rumble she looked back at me with fear unlike i ever seen before as if in slow motion ....... ...she began to fall as if the ground had opened up "nooooooo!!!!" i began to yell as she fell into the hole that seem to have its own light i heard the rumble again as i ran over to the hole i looked down into the endless pit of fire magma on both sides as if to the center of the earth....."there is no way she survived that " i thought to myself as i heard the rumble but this time wasn't a rumble more of a roar something was coming up from the bottom of the pit something moving fast as it opened its mouth and breath fire i stepped back as the flames shot out of the top of the pit into the grey sky........ then i saw it as it broke through the top of the hole green scales lined on its whole body as it came down i could see it red eyes as it arose and opened its wings "its a dragon!" i thought "have to go back" "i cant do anything for anyone like this" I thought as i turned and began to run the dragon slithering as it glided towards me i ran as fast as i could i could see its shadow coming towards....i tripped and fell i could hear its roar i covered my head waiting for the pain  of it devouring me .....but it never came...... i opened my eyes and stood up nothing was there nothing behind me  i let out a sigh of relief ,where did it go I thought I began to relax and started to fall back to lay back down and stopped a sound I stood back up what is that....then i heard it again... a roar louder as if all around me i have to go back have to get back to the golden field ,i began to run again  I ran till my legs hurt I was getting so close "i'm so close" i thought to myself  "i can make it" I said determined to get back to the other side of the trees  back to the light..... but i could feel the presence of it right behind me could feel it slithering across the ground with it's wings I could hear every flap so silent i began to run even faster I'm so close 15 steps I kept running 12 steps 8 steps 5 steps..... then i saw some moving in the shadows of the trees coming towards the edge "she is alive!" i started to think but this was bigger darker as it exited the shadow i could see it now a dragon of pure shadow, darkness surrounded it's body but eyes glowing red within the darkness as if the dragons shadow had become a dragon its self and it flew towards and began to breathe its fire at me i tried to turn around i fell down and covered my head as the flames shot over me "got to move" i thought as i got up a started to run as fast as my feet would carry me "if i can make it to the otherside of the trees" "maybe if i go farther" i thought as I started to run back the way I came across the field it was coming at me fast but then i heard it something  a rumble as if the world was shaking and I thought back to see her fall into the whole would the flames i had once ran from shot from the hole then then the dragon that had once chased me shot out of the whole again scales a shade of green face seemed angry" but how can that be" i thought "as if it knew i was coming back" angry as if both coming at me as if to kill me i looked both ways "are they coming for me or each other?" i thought and both of these monsters as they opened up there mouths i could see the fire burning in their throats as they breathed out the flames i closed my eyes ready to duck down again......ready to feel the pain of death to feel the burning heat burn me to nothing....... but something happened right below me i started to fall as if the ground had opened up below me as i look up as the flames fly over the pit "so familiar" i thought as i began to fall into the sea of darkness.............
