Cosmos' POV
I wince with pain as I touch the open gash on my cheek from my drunk abusive father normally I go into Mrs. Gideons house but she went out to play bingo so I'm sitting on her porch. I stand I can't stay out here I go to the mansion on the other side of our house. I tentatively reachup and knock on their door. A man about 20 opens the door and looks at me in suprise.
"Hi I'm Cosmos I live next door. I was wondering if I could sleep on your couch tonoght." I say and wince. "And use your medical kit." I add bearing the pain as best I can.
"Of course you can he says come on in. I'll show you to the bathroom, and you can use the spare room." He says examining my cuts. He shuffles me through a lounge room ful of people imersed in gameplay so much they don't notice me.
"Here." He says gesturing to a door. I step inside and close and lock the door behind me. I walk over to the mirror and find the first aid kit I sterolise my one cut for once it's only one thank heaven well that's just a saying. I pull a needle and thread from my pocket, I slowly start to with the presision of a doctor stitch up the cut. I finnally finnish and walk down stairs the man walks over before anyone else can see me.
"Are we going to meet the reason Jerome has to take the couch?" Another man asks.
"I'm Adam." Says the first guy I met... Adam.
"Cosmos meet Jerome, Mitch, Dawn, Ian, Jayson and Ty." Adam introduces me to the others.
"Hi, thanks for letting me have the spare room." I say to Jerome. He looks me up and down before responding.
"My pleasure. Plus you look like you need it more than me." He says shock clear in his voice.
"Who treated your cut?" Dawn asks.
"I did."I answer simply.
"Your better than me and I was taught by proffesionals." She comments I nod thanks. Then Adam jumped in.
"Spare room is first on the right at the top of the stairs." He says.
I walk in and immeadeatly drop into sleep on the matress.

I open my eyes and get up. I walk down stairs and write a note saying where I went and thankyou.

I wake up about 9:00 o'clock and walk down stairs and saw a note on the coffee table next to Jerome's head. I pick it up and read it;
Thank you for letting me stay the night I'll probably be stay with Mrs. Gideon. I went home by the way.
