Virgil pov.

Ever since the day Thomas posted the "can lying be good?" Video, everyone was nervous. Everyone expect Thomas of course even though he knew the existence of deceit he still lives his peaceful blissful of the panic in side his head.

Patton had became much more alert always looking behind him and double checking things, reminding me of what I usually do but then he'll ease then flash me that loving smile which always makes my face flush. Logan doesn't seemed that different expect he's always asking me or the other two random questions.

"Who's the oldest in the mind?" He asked me one day when I grumbled out my comfy bed and was about to enter the kitchen where Logan stood waiting for an answer. "What?" I asked my voice husky from sleep. I tried to step around him but then he flashed his arm which I bumped into.

"Answer the question Virgil." He demanded, glaring at me through his lenses. I groaned this is getting ridiculous I just want breakfast!

"Patton is the oldest as he's the heart, Happy?" I gritted out and Logan seemed to brighten up and stepped out the way. "Very." I flashed him an gritted smile and sat down on my usual seat, sighing in relief when Patton set down an plate of pancakes.

"Don't let him get to you, Virgil you know he means well." Patton chirped and Virgil rolled his eyes, defending him once again..

"Yeah maybe but I don't need to get interrogated every time I step out my room!" I whined shoving an bite of pancake in my mouth, I groaned in delight Patton really was an amazing cook.

"Your Prince has arrive!" Came an obnoxious voice and I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. Roman kissed an now sitting down Logan's cheek and side hugged Patton, he flashed me an charming smile on which I just grumble at.
"Good morning princey" Patton chirped setting down all the breakfast plates and sat down himself, next to me.

My hands started to get clammy and I held onto my fork tighter why does that keep happening?

We were halfway into breakfast, Roman flirting with Logan and him awkwardly trying back. Patton giggled he found there relationship endearing and cute. I looked away an twinge of jealous struck my chest.

Why can't we have that?

I looked at them and faked gagged, making it more extreme to note them that I was only joking. Roman flashed an annoyed look as Logan flashed an un amused look. Patton lightly tapped my head and shook his head.

"Play nice." I nodded my face flushing.

It was later and I was heading to my room to actually get sleep.. maybe if I feel like it. I walked past Patton's room to here.

"How did he come back!" An scared Patton cried and my steps stopped. I flashed the door an look as I continued to eavesdrop.

"I do not know Patton.."

"Logan.. what... what if ther-"

"Don't." Patton's scares voice was interrupted by an angry prince. I looked through the crack on the door to see Patton visibly scared, his face like an white sheet of paper, Logan face was grim. Princey was angrily staring at the ground..

"Don't mention them Patton.."

Them? Who's them. Patton walked to his bed where he held an dark cat teddy, he nuzzled his face into it and I held down an smile, I got him that teddy for an gift, he kept it!, my face grims as I see that he had tears in his eyes.

"I'm so scar-" Patton started but Logan interrupted him, "Don't lie." I,like Patton flashed an confused look. Patton opened his mouth." I-I am not lying.." Logan groaned and gripped his hair.

"Yes not now but you can't not ever!" Logan grip was tighter and I winced for him, prince removed Logan's hands from his head and give an knowing look at him.

"We know how to avoid bringing them back." Prince held Logan close and Patton just stared on, "they won't come back up.."

Patton held the teddy close and I just wanted to comfort him, but I knew I couldn't.. after princes speech it was the end of the conversation and I was about to walk in.

"No one tells Virgil!" Logan demands and I stopped.. what?. This got Patton's attention and he nodded. "He has nothing to do with this."

Patton's agreeing to keep an secret from me! Patton of all people?!

Roman nodded and kissed Logan fiercely, Patton had to look away. Logan moved away. "Roman.. no."

That was .. odd, that kiss it seemed like he was... asserting dominance or something that wasn't Roman like at all..

I finally knocked and entered the room making them all jump in the process. Patton give me an watery smile and jumped up from the bed, it took me everything not to ask the questions that swirled around my head.

Who were they?

How and why are they making Patton and that scared..

Why can't I help?

Patton gave me an big hug, knowing he'll need comfort from the past ordeal I happily give it back, deciding to fake an grumble. "Heh, yeah I Came in to say night'" I excused myself and hugged Patton tightly. I broke away and give them my signature finger salute. Roman raised an brow at me

"Planning to sleep the night emo nightmare.. that's unlike you?" I rolled my eyes at the nickname and smirked at him.

"When do I sleep?" And with that I walked out the door shutting it. I gritted my hand and resist the urge to punch something...

I ran to my room and slammed myself on my bed and screamed into my covers.

Okay this is probably so bad.. this is based off an au I just made today XD I know it's canon that Virgil knows more but.. for the sake of the fanfic he's an clueless bun. Sorry if any grammar or spelling errors or if I hadn't got him right..
