Game Night

It was a Friday evening in Sandra's apartment, and Finn McMissile, Rod "Torque" Redline, Jenny and Sandra had gotten together for a Guys vs Girls game evening, so it was Jenny and Sandra against Rod and Finn, who were both in their human forms for this. The whiteboards were set up, as the first game of the evening was pictionary.

"Here's the word for Round 1." Finn said to Sandra, and he showed her the pictionary word on a piece of paper. She nodded, and then they both picked up a marker pen each and began drawing on the whiteboards.

Finn began to draw a cube.

"Uhhh.... square? A window?" Rod guessed, and Finn shook his head in reply.

Sandra drew what looked like a person standing next to a window.

"Ash Williams?" Jenny took a guess. When Sandra shook her head and drew another person, Jenny took another guess, "Ash Williams and Kelly Maxwell?"

She then drew another person standing by another window.

"Ash Williams, Kelly Maxwell and Batman?"

Sandra drew another person.

"Batman and Robin plus Ash Williams and Kelly Maxwell?"

Rod, however, managed to guess it correctly when he said,

"A box...? Uuhhh... a present!"

"That's right!" Finn answered, and he had indeed drawn a present on the pictionary board.

"Huh...? How's that a present?" Asked Jenny, putting her hand on her chin in thought and looking at what Sandra had drawn.

"It's not 'a' present, it's 'the' present, as in the 'present moment in time'." Sandra told her.

"Oh yeah, that's true. How did I miss that?" Jenny smacked her forehead as she was the nerdy type, so she should've been able to recognise something like that.

In the next round of pictionary, after they knew what the word was, Jenny and Rod began drawing on their whiteboards.

Rod drew a circle and added some dots in it.

"It's a model of the universe?" Finn tried.

"No."

"Its a dirty fingernail?" He tried again. Rod shook his head.

"It's a chocolate chip cookie!" Sandra exclaimed to Jenny, which was the right answer.

"Yes!"

"What's the score, Finn?" Asked Jenny.

"Girls: 1, Men: 1, so right now we're tied neck and neck."

"3, 2, 1, wrestle!" Finn yelled a minute later as Jenny and Rod were in position for the next game: wrestling. Rod immediately managed to wrestle Jenny to the ground, causing her to yelp out of surprise, with ease and held her there for 3 seconds.

"I win." Rod smiled and kissed Jenny on the cheek.

"Stop!" Jenny joked as she laughed at this. Then Finn got on the ground and they both began kissing her, causing her to laugh even louder.

"57... 58... 59..." Jenny counted on her watch for the next round, which was that Sandra and Finn had to walk around in circles looking at the floor for 1 minute to make themselves dizzy and then answer a long-division question. "That's 1 minute!"

"Remember to show your workings, because they really matter." Rod reminded Finn and Sandra as they walked over to their whiteboards where the long-division question was written out, although the stumbled a little bit as they were still dizzy.

As Finn got to his whiteboard, he stood still for a moment, trying to regain his balance while he said,

"I'm okay. I'm okay..." But then he suddenly fell sideways to the floor from how dizzy he was, and by the time he'd gotten back up again, which was a few seconds later, Sandra had already answered the question on her whiteboard.

"37!" She shouted in glee upon getting it correct.

A few hours later, the 4 of them were sat down together on the sofa, tired after all the games they'd played that night (they kept on tying neck and neck). Jenny and Sandra were snuggled with Finn and Rod, who were still in human form.

"I guess neither team won in the end. But it doesn't matter. It was fun anyway." Sandra said, her voice quiet from how tired she was.

"Very true. At least we got to spend a whole day together." Jenny added in agreement.

"We should do these game nights more often!" Finn suggested.

"Agreed there, partner." Said Rod. "But next time could we maybe play Twister? I'm great at Twister in my human form." He also recommended as a joke, causing the others to chuckle at this.
