"Lance! Lance! Wake up! Mom wants you downstairs before you go!" Lance's little siblings jumped on his bed, bouncing him up and down.
"I'm up, I'm up," he said. He stumbled out of bed-forgetting about his sleep mask-and fell on the floor. His siblings laughed at him as he pulled his mask off his face and stood up.
His little brother Lane pulled on his arm in the direction of the door. "Come on! Mama has cake and she said we couldn't eat till you came down."
Lance laughed and shrugged his siblings off. He pushed them out out of his room, promising he would come down as soon as he was done changing. He changed into a light blue shirt and dark jeans.
When he got downstairs, his three little brothers and two sisters crowded him again.
"Are you all ready for boarding school Lance?" his mom asked as cake was shoved towards his face.
"Yeah mom," he answered. "My bags upstairs, but I'm kinda stuck." Lance raised his arm to show that he was pinned down by his sisters.
His mom laughed. "Lane," she said. "Go get you brothers things so he can go."
Lane pouted for a moment, but then his mother gave him a stern look, and he stomped upstairs. "Your father is in the car waiting for you." She kissed Lance's forehead. "Be good, Lance."
Lane tugged on Lance's sleeve, and he looked down. Lane handed him his stuff. Lance kissed and hugged all of his siblings goodbye. He went out to the car, where his father was waiting, and headed towards his new high school.
When they got to campus, Lance said goodbye to his father, and promised to visit on his breaks. He left and went to find his dorm.
When he got to his dorm, he realized he and arrived before his roommate. He claimed the bed next to the window, and got comfy. Lance unpacked some of his stuff, until he got to his computer. He logged onto his computer, and checked in with all his friends.
