"Honey get off your phone and go play with the kids outside," Mom told.
"Mom they are in 6th grade and I am going into 9th. I do not have time to play with little kids." I gave her a sideways look.
"You were one of those 'little kids' ha ha ha." She shot back at me.
"I DON'T CARE I HAD THE WORST SCHOOL YEAR EVER!!!! SO I WANT A LOT OF ALONE TIME!" I screamed.
Then mom walked out of my room and went downstairs to drink her morning coffee. I got up off of my bed and slammed my door. Then my Dad came up.
"What's a matter." He crossed his arms.
"Why do you need to know." I shot back all sassy.
"Dude I heard you screaming about your school year." He replied.
"Don't care." I mumbled, "go away."
Then Dad came over and sat down next to me and patted me on my back tears came into my eyes. I hugged him crying.
I looked up at him and he said, "It's going to be alright."
