Chapter 1:
Fighting and Screaming
{Austin’s P.O.V}
“Austin James Kensington get your ungrateful ass back over here now!” I heard her scream. God why did she do this? Can she not see I don’t want to be like her? I don’t want to be a stuck up, preppy bitch who throws their money around to get whatever the hell they want like my so called mother!
“Why? So you can yell at me more for being so ungrateful? So incompetent? I am sorry I don't get the best grades, I am sorry I don't volunteer at the local church! I don't have time to do that because I have to do all the mothering towards Landen and Winter you never wanted to do!” I screamed back, knowing I was crossing so many lines at once, I would be grounded probably until I was 76. At the moment though, I didn’t care. She was pissing me off and she deserved to feel bad! Yes, I am aware I am being a brat, but again, I don’t give a crap.
“Don’t you dare, bring those..those..monstrosities into this! They are worthless spaces of earth. They don’t deserve to be on alive!” she said calmly, and I totally snapped. No body, I repeat, no body talks bad about my brother and sister.
“You're the worthless, bitchy, vindictive waste of space you whore! I have heard you with other guys! You're a bigger whore then Miley Cyrus! Winter and Landen are both amazing! Which is shocking considering they both came out of you!” I hollered back, I can’t believe she would talk about her own children like this! She has no right to call us her children anymore! I swear the moment I turn 18, I am out of here, I don’t care if I have nowhere to go, I wouldn’t stay here if the zombies were attacking and this was the only safe place in the universe.
For once, my mother looked completely dumbfounded. I took this rare opportunity to get out of there. I grabbed my jacket and ran. I didn’t know where, I didn’t know for how long. What I did know is I needed to blow off steam so I would. The only way I knew how, and then I ran never looking back.
{Aliyah’s P.O.V}
Hugging my arms closer to my t-shirt clad chest, I looked up past the rustling tree tops towards the night sky. The sun had just finished setting and the stars were promised to appear soon. As soon as I thought this, I noticed the faint glimmer of the first star of the evening and instinctively whispered to myself the old poem I was taught as a child;
Star light, star bright
First star I see tonight
I wish I may, I wish I might
Have the wish I wish tonight.
My silent, following wish was bound to go unanswered and unfulfilled butsadly that didn’t keep my 23 year old self from participating in the childish ritual.
Clomp. Clomp. The sound of footsteps broke through the music currently blasting out of my bulky headphones. Turning off my iPod and sliding the headphones down my lengthy, wavy brown hair to nestle around my neck, I turned in a 360 degree circle. No one was there.
I took this moment of silence to take in my surroundings. Shrubberies and trees rustled all around and above me, their leaves forming a border around the patch of open, now twinkling sky directly above. Water splashed and rippled through a small pond hidden by overgrown vegetation. A short distance away was a lamp post illuminating a swing set that creaked softly in the blowing wind.
It really was a beautiful night here in Manchester though the creaking was beginning to sound a bit ominous. Wow, look at me, calling things beautiful… I’m Aliyah Lovik for God’s sake! I’m not some beauty-adoring-light-headed-bimbo.
Clomp. Clomp. This time I definitely heard them. Okay, so maybe I’m a bit of an air-head. Walking alone at this time of night through the middle of a park probably wasn’t my best idea. I spun around, but my daydreaming had gotten the best of me and the darkness had set in quick. I squinted, trying to penetrate the shadows with my eyes.
Clomp. Clomp. By now they were getting closer. Clomp. Clomp.Yup, definitely getting really close, I thought in panic.
Becoming paranoid, I looked around for any sign of defense. All I could spot was the swing set. Maybe there was a rusty nail and I could cause him to acquire tetanus or something. Okay, well, maybe not. At least in the light I could see my possible attacker.
Sprinting bewilderedly, I tried to close the gap between myself and the patch of light. This must have set him off because the footfalls behind me got much quicker.
Somehow that patch of light became a beacon of hope in my eyes even if it would do nothing of help in my current situation.
I was only a hair length away from my destination when I felt a meaty paw grasp me around my right wrist and another encircle my waist. At this time, I did the only logical thing my vacant mind could come up with: I screamed.

Bunny here again! so omg so freaking dramatic, do you love it, me and Dino have been fangirlling for so long now its not even funny. To the side by the way, is the very sexy, very talented, very delicious, very amazing Liam payne, who plays Austin. Damn he is fine... yaaaa haha what up guys XD ya so i am a directioner..dont judge me... This is deticated to Dino's and I real friend Wintwolf. He is so amazing, even though at times, it seems like me and him are more different then night and day, I love him and I wouldnt trade him for anyone in the world. Thank you for always being there for me WIntwolf, Love you <3 your bunny ANYWAYS! chapter 2, dont know when its going to be up, when people start begging, its done and everything, but chapter 3 is not. so ya, :) eventually, dont worry we wont make you wait that long ;)
