Sobs echoed the walls of the small room Columbia and Magenta shared in the castle. It was just one of those days where Columbia misses Eddie much more than usual.

"It's going to be okay." Magenta said to Columbia repeatedly, rubbing her back. Magenta wasn't so used to comforting people, as she didn't yet understand earth people emotions, but she didn't quite want to, either. They were to complex, and as far as she was concerned, useless. She was quite content without any feelings, or at least not like Columbia's. But both transylvanians and earth people felt happy-ish, and love, and lust. But not sadness. Riff Raff never cried after Frank beat him, and Riff Raff still slept like a kitten when Frank did his "experiments". Not Columbia or Magenta though.

"Please Columbia, stop crying. The whole castle can hear you." Magenta placed a hand on Columbia's shoulder.

"But I miss him!"

"Well get over it! And believe me, we all do! He brought happiness into this house, something we seldom have AT ALL!"

"Not Frank! I hate him. I hate Frank! He is like a sponge, he just takes takes takes and sucks all the love and emotion out of everyone else!" She continued to sob, and then they heard a knock on the door. The door swung open. Frank.

"Columbia, would you please shut up for once in your life?"

Columbia stood, ready to defend herself, but Magenta held her back.

"Magenta dear, do put a stop to this, please." He stepped back, and the door slammed back into place.

"See what I mean?" Columbia said, looking at Magenta.

"Just go to sleep, god."

Columbia grunted, climbed into bed, cuddling into her blankets. Magenta tucked her in, and then flopped onto her bed with a magazine.

Screams echoed from downstairs.

"Oh, I do wish he wouldn't do this in the late hours of the night. Think of how the GUESTS must feel!" Columbia and Magenta snickered. More screams echoed, and Columbia shoved her head under her pillow.

"This is rather unsettling." Magenta spoke slowly.

"Can I lay on your bed with you?" Columbia asked, flashing her sad puffy red eyes.

"Oh, I suppose." Magenta scooted over to make room for Columbia, and Columbia needed ALOT of room. Magenta was practically falling of the bed!

"Columbia, I need blankets, too!" Magenta said, pulling the blanket towards her.

"Sorry-EEE!" More screams echoed, followed by Columbia's shrill scream of fear.

"Its okay, Columbia." Magenta said, rapping her arm around her waste. "I'm here." Magenta kissed Columbia on the nose, her eyelashes fluttering on Columbia's forehead.

"But the poor-" Magenta kissed her again, silencing her.

"Oh and Columbia?" Magenta said.

"Yes?"

"If you ever tell Riff Raff about what we do when he is not around, I will kill you."

Columbia laughed, and then realized that Magenta doesn't understand jokes, none the less sarcasm.

"Okay." She said slowly. Magenta laughed.

"I was-Um-Joking." She said. They laughed together. Columbia snuggled towards her and placed her head in the crook of her neck. Sometimes Columbia got on Magenta's last nerve, but it was times like this Magenta was glad Columbia had joined their little circus of a family.
