Rose Red

Chapter One

A certain dark haired boy wrapped his arm my shoulders. Under his left arm was his used skateboard, being clutched firmly in hope of it not falling.

He looked down at me and our eyes met. He had the most wonderful emerald green eyes, that mesmerised me every time i looked at him. They reminded me of all the fun times we had with each other. They were special.
After he realised we'd been staring at each other for a while he looked at the ground and smiled. It was cute.

"So... How has your day been?" I asked Adrian.
"Great" He replied, meeting my eyes again, "how was yours?".
It was quite boring actually but i guessed he didn't want to hear that, so i told him my day was good as well.

I noticed him eyeing my new camera hanging loosely around my neck.
I got it for christmas from him. I'd wanted it for ages but my parents had other plans on what to give me, so Adrian splashed out and presented me with this.

"Do u want me to take some shots of u skating?" I asked finally. Before i knew it, he was pushing forward and on his skate board, trying to look aesthetic. Which was working to be honest.

I tried to take the best pictures i could, as it would also help me get a high level in my photography course. I felt like i was doing well in it so far. I had taken some pretty professional pieces for my portfolio.
After i had finished, i called Adrian back to look at the photos i had taken.
"Oh my god they're amazing Rose!" He exclaimed with a broad smile on his face, which was so contagious I found myself smiling back instantly.
