arrived to the city's treasury pool. I guess I'm the first toady. The sun was scorching and I was exceedingly glad to have my old knitted hat with me. I'ts been hours unthil pool staff opened the gates and let me in. I decided to go for a swim before the crowd arrives. My hands ached me when I bent down to untie shoes and I tumbled backward, overwhelmed by the sudden pain. Stupid cancer! Can it stop making few days I have left any more lame? Well, it seems that there wont be any  swimming, at least not now. I'll try to get some color in the sun instead. I'm pretty pale from illness.

I almost fell asleep when I heard a loud, seemingly children laughing near myself. I removed my sunglasses off of my face and looked around. Tall, blonde girl is lying on a deck chair next to mine, reading a magazine upside down, laughing uncontrollably.I looked at her in amazement. She seemed to sense it, because she turned to me and looked at me very curiously. She had large, blue-green eyes, straight and shiny long blond hair, a snub nose and a full, red lips. She looked at me for a moment, then left the magazine and clasped her hands around her knees, addressing me very male voice for such a feminine body.

''Hi", she said.

''Hi'', I answered, quite insecure. I was never a person who had many friends. Or social life, of any kind.

''I'm Judy", she seemed so free to make friends and she had all the all the confidence that I was missing so obviosly. Silence was between us for a few moments, and then I've got a courage from some part of my body and started thinking. She has no idea how I'm acting ussually, how shy am I. I'll just be free and talk to her. We'll probably never see eachother again.

''I'm Rachel. Are you alone here?''

''Oh, yes. My friends just don't get me and I even think they can't swim. You know, make up can't stand quite well when you're in the wather.''

I was looking at her for a moment. She was so honest and free. Than we both started laughing.

''What about you, Rach? You alone here?''

What should I tell her? Shoudl I tell a total stranger my whole story?

''Yes. I just... Like to hang out by myself.'''

She blinked for a second and then told me, complitly naturally, like that is something she could do any time:

''Well, it looks like we're not alone anymore'', then took my hand and lead me to the deepest pool.

     Hello, best summer ever.

Judy is just amazing. After we had the best time on the pool, we exchanged phone numbers and left home, happy and with our hairs full of chlorine.

I came home and my mother could not help noticing that I was happier than usual. I even forgot about all the anger I felt for her constantly.

''What are you so happy about?''

''Nothing. I just meet a friend today."

''Well I think that's a reason to celebrate!''

Why, in the world is she so happy and cheer? God. She's my mother, is she actually happy for this? I threw those toughts away and followed her to the kitchen. She was bringing the plates for a cake - chocolate, my favourite - and watched me very carefully.

''Rachel.''

''Mom?''

''We will have to talk very soon about something. Something... Important. And that will happend... As soon is posible. And you must accept what I tell you. No metter what you think of that. Promise me.''

My mother's gone insane. God, I'm 15, I know what cancer is and whatever she's got to tell me.

''Um, okay, sure.''

My new phone is ringing. Mom bought it for me right after our small talk about me accepting things. IPhone 5. Yes! I don't really now how to use it, but okay, I'll learn. But I can answer the phone. It's Judy.

''Hi, sleeping beauty! Did I wake you up?''

I was so happy to hear her voice that I coulden't ruin her mood.

''Oh, no. I was just about to call you.''

''Nice! So, I was thinking, since my birthay is next week, what do you say about choosing place to celebrate in with me? Please! I can't do it on my own.''

,,Sure! Wanna come over?''

''Yes. I just have to wait for my mother to finish the pie. She's in the cooking mood these days, and she barely know how to make a coffie, so...''

,,Good luck!''

''Oh, no, honey. Good luck to you, she will make me to bring you some, to taste it.''

God, I love her!

''Can't wait!''

''Well, I'll se ya in an hour?''

''Sure, meet me at the pool gates, okay?''

 ''Okay!''

My mom will love her. And my room looks like a bomb just fell, so, I hope I will have enough time to make it looks like a mess. Messy is pretty clean for my standards. Judy, I hope you're an opened mind.
