Water droplets soaked Isabella's hair as her bright green eyes stared into the distance. She often enjoyed rainy mornings. The sound and feel of the rain had brought peace to her restless mind. The rain had seemed to be the only thong that could take care of it.
Today would make a year since her mothers death, and her father committed suicide a few months later. Isabella's mother died from a brain tumor. After her death Isabella's father had lost his sanity drinking all day, everyday and became violent. Isabella watched as her father lost more of who he was each day, until he made the final decision to end it.
Isabella's aunt, Kate, had adopted her and helped her with her parents death. Even though Kate had helped her with the death of her loved ones they never really got close. Kate tried helping Isabella feel comfortable confiding in her, but gave up after it came clear she would not. Kate hated that she could not help her, but learned to live with it.
The wind starts picking up making Isabella shiver, and come back to reality. She had threw a long sleeve shirt on and dark blue jeans, but it wasn't enough to keep her warm.
