"Havon, for the thousandth time, wake up! Your going to be late for school!" Groggy, half asleep, and ticked off with my mom, I stumbled down the steps for breakfast. " Uh, Havon, you should probably get dressed, you're still in your 'pajamas' " That was my more annoying than a yappy chihuahua older sister, Veronica "What?" I looked down and I saw that I was still in my pajamas, meaning that I was in my boxers. " Oh well, deal with it." Veronica 'secretly' glared at me the whole time we were eating breakfast. When I was finished I went back up stairs and got dressed into a blue plaid shirt, jeans, and my black and blue sneakers. My sister had better be satisfied with this, or else I was going to get right back into my boxers at the end of school and walk around like that for the rest of the day.

CHAPTER TWO

At school everyone was part sad and part excited. Sad because summer break was over and we had to go back to school, excited because they got to see their friends, crushes, and favorite teachers again. Right when I walked in the door at least 50 people swarmed around me and they all started talking at once. "How was your summer?", "Did you have a hard time waking up this morning?" "Will you go out with me?" That last one was a little bit weird. ( If you were wondering, I said no) After I answered every single question shot at me like bullets, I started walking over to my sister to embarrass her. All of a sudden I stumbled and felt sick. I walked into the bathroom and went into a stall, expecting to throw up. But I didn't throw up, instead I had something like a vision:

I was at my house with my sister. My parents went out to dinner. Veronica is in charge. It is a peaceful night, until suddenly there is a knock at the door. Veronica tells me to go up stairs and not to come back down until she comes and gets me. Once I'm upstairs Veronica opens the door. I hear talking for a while. After a while things seem to heat up, and Veronica starts yelling at the person. Seconds later there is silence. 5 minutes later Veronica still hasn't come and gotten me. I go downstairs.

No one is there.

CHAPTER THREE

Today I woke up from a nightmare. It was a re-enactment of the vision I had yesterday. I went downstairs after a few minutes, only to find that my sister wasn't down there, only my mom was. I started to get really scared. "Mom, where's Veronica?"
