It is 7 in the night and Saumya walking through the iron gate of Oberoi Mansion towards the main gate, She finally came back from the beach tired and stressed. She got that urge to call her boss and make him understand but what she got to learn about her boss in these four months that he is not very understanding person and she is not going to beg, Saumya Tendulkar never begs.
She understands that Rudra shouldn't have intervened but her boss too crossed the limit talking about her father. Men like him only need one opportunity to prove that girls are not made for corporate culture.. these stereotype male chauvinistic pig, she fumed internally walking through the main gate.
Enterning the house her sullen mood changed into a happy smile seeing the most lovable member of the family sitting on the couch with her daughter-in-laws and grand daughter-in-laws surrounding her. ShivOmRu were also present and she could see lots of jewellery boxes were spread on the table and a man in white Kurta-Pajama and a cap on his head with hands full of rings sitting there on couch.
"Dadi.." She called grinning from ear to ear and almost running into her hugging her tightly
"When did you come?" She asked cheerfully forgetting the afternoon incident
"I came in the morning you are only late..chal now you also choose something from all of these" Dadi said gesturing at the table covered with numerous jewellery of incalculable worth
"But whats the occasion?" She asked confused
"There's no occasion, Pinky and Jhanvi wanted to give their jewellery for reworking, So i thought to call the jeweller with some jewellery for all of you why we always need occasion to gift our loved ones" Dadi said to Saumya
"Aww" Saumya replied
"Chal ab tu bhi kuch chun le" Dadi said to her
"Nahi mujhe kuch nahi chahiye" Saumya said shaking her head in a no
"Kuch nahi chahiye aise kaise sab kuch na kuch le rahe tu dekh toh sahi" dadi said urging her to see something
"Dadi.." She tried to refuse again but dadi glared at her so mumbling a little okkay she started seeing the jewellery actually none of it was of her taste considering she doesn't prefer much jewellery but still she looked on for Dadi's sake
Her eyes were roaming over all the jewellery when her eyes found it... A small box of emrald earrings. It was one of beautiful design she had ever seen. Twinkling diamonds and emralds was looking so enchanting to her. The round shape earring had a dangling thing inside it and also got a butterfly bow design between the stud and the dangle earring.
