I woke up and looked around. Where was I? Somebody was knocking on the creaky, wooden door. I looked at the clock by my bed. 4.17am.

'Come in...' I said, yawning

My aunt Elana strode through the door.

'Up you get, then, training starts today!!!! She handed me a timetable for today.

5-7 am- Fitness training- back lawn
7-7.30 am- breakfast- courtyard
7.30-9.30 am- edible plants- wood
9.30-11.30 am- Shooting and arrows-         back lawn
11.30 am-1.30 pm- sailing- lake
1.30-2.00- Lunch- courtyard
2.00- 4.00- Fire practice- courtyard
4.00-6.00- cooking and cleaning duties- kitchens
6.00-7.30- Dinner- courtyard
7.30-9.30- night practice- back lawn
9.30- bed

I almist fell asleep reading it- 12 hours of training and 2 hours of duties!!!! I was used to 6 hours of school and 4 hours of duties!!

I could see the Rebel life was not as easy as it sounded!!!!

I quickly got changed and headed to the back lawns for fitness training. A group of about 8 children aged (from my estimation) to be aged from about my age (14) to 18.

A strong man came out with a whistle and ordered silence. All was quiet. He made us run ailently around the field 10 times, complete a half an hour circuit training, do climbing exercises and finish with sprints. I was exhausted but had no time to breathe as I was whisked straight into the courtyard for breakfast- a hearty bowl  of porrige and a pile of fruit. At least it filled me up.

14 hours later...

I was half awake/ half asleep as I walked back to my room. The day had., I suppose, been a success, but I felt like I had done 3x as much exercise today as in the rest of my life together, and I was a sporty girl!!

The second my head hit the pillow I fell straight to sleep!
