Sanity. [Niall Horan Fan-Fiction]

Chapter 2.

It was the next day, and I couldn't get Niall out of my head. How his crystals called eyes stared into mine. How his height towered over me. How his voice sent chills down my spine. 

I couldn't get him out of my head! It was honestly driving me crazy! I sigh and roll over in my bed, grabbing my phone. 2 new messages.... I check my messages and see one is from Rei, the other is from Ally.

From Ally:

Brittany? Where'd you go? Did you go home? Rei and I are worried sick. Or did you go home with someone? ;) Just call me ASAP! 

I chuckle at her message and reply, telling her I went home because I felt under the weather and that i'd call her later. I also told her that NO, I did not go home with someone! That's not something I would do! I click off her message to read Rei's.

From Rei:

Girl, where are you? Ally and I are worried! You should've came and found us before you left! We looked everywhere for you, except your apartment. Did you go there? Or did you go home with someone? Just call me or text me back!

I chuckle and instantly reply. I tell her I was fine and that I went home because I was under the weather, as I told Ally. I told her i'd contact her later and that NO I didn't go home with someone!

I put my phone down and sit up and stretch in bed. I groan and fall and my head hits the bed. I have to get up and do somethings today. I get up and walk into my kitchen and fix a cup of tea. I drink my tea and walk to my closet, picking out my outfit for the day. Skinny jeans, a 5SOS t-shirt, converse, with my hair down curly. Perfect. 

I run and bring my cup to the kitchen, clean it, grab my phone, and run out the door, locking it behind me. I go out and begin walking towards town. I didn't have a car, so I had to walk everywhere. But i'm not complaining! I finally get to town and look around. Okay, I think to myself. I have to go to the bank, buy some nice clothes for the town party for the mayor, and I have to go by Ally's and Rei's. Okay. Let's get started. 

I went to the bank and got some cash out of my account and made my way to the mall. I walk in and see crowd's of people everywhere. What the heck? It's more hectic and crowded than usual. I walk around the crowd of people, looking in the direction of what they're looking at. Their gaze slowly turn, following something in the crowd, walking in my direction. I slowly turn and walk the other direction but the crowd follows. I look back and see someone in a snapback walking my way. I kinda speed walk but the crowd starts running. I run into the closest store possible, Macy's. I see the crowd run towards it, but is stopped by the mall security and the boy in the snapback comes into the store and looks up. Oh my gosh..

It's Niall. 

He looks up at me, only a few feet from him. He instantly flashes that evil smile.

"Hello again love. Lovely seeing you again." He says as he walks closer to me. I begin taking steps back and he stops. "What is it love? Did I do something?" Yeah, you are making me want you more..

"Niall, remember... I told you that I thought it was best if we didn't talk." I say as polite as possible. "Ah, yes. But what was your reasoning for it?" He asks as he looks me in the the eyes. Yeah Brittany, what is your reason?  To be honest... I didn't have my reason. "W-Well, I-I.." I begin to say but he smirks. "Exactly, you don't have a reason. So we should talk. Like right now, we should go for a bite somewhere." Niall suggests. I inhale deeply, but nod. "Alright." I reply. He smiles and comes and puts his hand on the small of my back, leading us towards the other exit.

When we get close, we see a crowd of girls screaming. My eyes widen and Niall must've notice because he began rubbing my back, attempting to comfort me. "It's okay, we'll get through it. I won't let them hurt you." Niall whispers. I calm down a little and he takes my hand as we head out the door. Screams fill my eyes as Niall says, "Lower your head. Don't let them see you." I nod and put my head down, Niall's hand never leaving mine. We begin walking through and girls are screaming different things at us.

"Niall has a girl with him!" "Ugh, he's mine!" "Back away from my man!" And other mean things, but that wasn't the worst. I felt my hair get tugged, and Nialls hand leaves mine as I hit the ground. I just shut my eyes and pull my knees to my chin and bury my face. I feel my hair getting tugged, my skin getting scratched. 

"Back up. Now!" I heard someone shout. Fans start backing away as I feel some bend down to my level. "Love, it's just me." I heard Niall's voice. I pick my head up and look at him and he holds out his hand. I take it and he helps me up and pulls me close. We begin walking again and I could hear Niall yelling.

"Stay back!" He would yell, tints of vemon in his voice. We finally get to a car and I hop in, Niall comes in after me. He shuts the door and we drive off. I exhale and squeeze my eyes in pain. By now, my head is killin' me and my arms hurt from the scratches. Niall looks at me with concern. 

"Why don't we go get you cleaned up, then go out." Niall suggests, looking at my scratches. I nod and breathe in and out. I could barely open my eyes or else my head would get a sharp pain. 

Welp, I guess i'm going to Niall's house... This oughta be fun...
