Hi everyone
I was boring the next few days because we came to Yemen and they havens finished school. What school do you want to go to? mom asked while cooking breakfast. I didn't really know how schools were here in Yemen I was a shy girl..... I hope that they would treat me good not like a stupid new be!!
My aunt called my mom want asked if I could come with her to Al-Sofa private school. Without even mom telling me about visiting she agreed....... ANYWAYS I told her to pick me up next week.....

Time flies by fast ........tomorrow was the day I will be visiting the school. I got my abaya ready and my bag and slept early so the bus won't have to wait for me ......I was really nervous what if the students gave me weird looks and what if the made fun of my Arabic.......It was 9:00 I had dinner and went to sleep.
I wake up with the sound of the alarm I prayed fajr ...it was chilly and really cold. After I prayed I went down stairs and made an omlet for breakfast... Minutes later my aunt called me and told me to get ready. I quickly put on my abaya and a black hijab and wore my nikab (a beautiful piece of fabric that covered me face except my eyes with that put on some eyeliner and opened the door to the sound of the bus.
I entered the bus shyly lowering my gaze I said me Salam and kissed my aunt that was sitting in the front seat where are the students I asked her politely?....at school I just came to pick you up habibati (darling).
We stayed quiet the rest of the way it was a long ride we finally entered the next street it was really bumpy yet cool and nice people were out playing football and kids buying from the store I asked her who lives here she told me that Groups of Sharaiba and Makalifa I didn't really know what that means and just nodded.... We stopped at this blue door that had the colors of the Yemen flag on top. My aunt smiled and took me into her office. She gave me the highlights of the school and asked me if I wanted to see the students from the same grade as me. I nodded happily and nervously. She took me up at knocked the door the door opened and I saw 5 boys and 1 girl. She announced that I was a visitor and warned them to be nice to me.....the funny thing was there was no teacher in the class ...... I asked them where was the teacher the girl on the right told me that she was absent and that they had free time ... I sat down quietly the. Suddenly a 2 boys named Aziz and Mohammed (they were cute and sweet)they came up to me with a smile and asked me what was my name? Doaa.......I told them with a smile.they started asking me questions and making jokes and I really liked them a lot I saw a girl named haneen siting quietly on the corner I talked with her and laughed and made jokes ... I saw her talking with a boy in her class she was fighting with him a she slapped him and he gave her a peck on the cheek ..... I was freaked out I thought that that was her boyfriend or maybe a close friend I didn't know that Muslims are allowed to have boyfriends
