The next day, Blossomkit woke at the break of dawn. "When is Tallshadow gonna visit us again?" Tallshadow was their father. A strong warrior, he was handsome and charming. He always tried his best to defend his Clan's territory.

"Very soon," Mintleaf replied. "In fact, he'll see you today at your apprentice ceremony!"

"Oh my StarClan —I didn't know that was today!" Moonkit mewed.

"Yeah, I know! Can't wait." Blossomkit replied, waiting for Skystar to call them over. She had watched it before with Petalpaw and Windpaw, her old denmates.

"Let all warriors join beneath the blossom tree for a Clan Meeting!" Skystar yowled.

Blossomkit smiled. Well, finally!!! Moonkit looked excited too.

"Blossomkit and Moonkit, please come up on the rock." Skystar meowed. Once they were there, he continued, "You have been with SpringClan for six moons. Today you will start your training."

Skystar turned to Blossomkit. "From this day on, you will be known as Blossompaw until you have received your warrior name. Your mentor shall be Bluefrost."

Bluefrost made his way up to the rock, touched noses with Blossompaw, and looked pretty proud. Blossompaw caught sight of Tallshadow, hoping he would notice her.

He did. Pride lit the dark gray tom's gaze as he watched his kits become apprentices. Moonkit was next.

Skystar continued. "Moonkit, you will be known as Moonpaw, and your mentor will be Rainflower." Rainflower touched noses with her new apprentice.

As Skystar called the meeting over, Blossompaw felt proud. At last, she was an apprentice!
