Before the Accident

Jimin and his Decidueye had just defeated another trainer at the Pokémon League. Being part of the Elite Four is very exciting as you get to see the trainers do their best to beat him. Jimin was placed as the last Elite Four as the final obsticle before they can challange the Champion. His uniquely dyed hair that was black with strands of orange hair, made everyone recognize him at first glance.

Today, there were no challengers at the League, so Kukui gave everyone the opportunity to venture out of the building. After being enclosed in that place for so long, Jimin had to get use to the outside once again. Decidueye refused to leave its ball unless it was dark time, and Jimin could understand why. Currently, he was at Ula'Ula island, visiting his favorite Trial Captain Acerola. He had greeted her along the way and continued on his walk, experiencing old sights once again.

During his small adventure, his fellow ghost-type partner, Mimikyu, popped out of its ball without warning "Don't startle me like that!" Jimin gasped. Mimikyu jumped and waddled next to him, recalling the memory of when it first met Jimin. The young trainer sighed and took in the Alolan Sun "It's nice to see the sun after so long, right Mimi?" he stretched. A few girls spotted him from the distance and snapped a few pictures here and there.

Jimin headed towards the Thrifty Megamart abandoned site "This brings back old memories, right, Mimikyu?" his pokémon wobbled its head. He sat down at the stairs and called out all his pokémon, of course Decidueye was an exception. His pokémon played outside and in the air, and Jimin sat there observing them with interest. Suddenly, a roar interrupted the peaceful atmosphere as a Salamance descended to the ground and shook the whole area. Jimin and his Mimikyu took their stance along with the rest as they were ready to battle, but someone stuck their head out and he immediately recognized the red hair.

"Jiminie! Long time no see!" Hoseok jumped off his ride and ran towards the younger. Jimin was taken aback as he was tackled with a hug "Hobi-hyung, you look different!" he laughed. Hoseok smiled and helped him up, cleaning off the dirt from his clothes "There's more to this than meets the eye," he turned to Salamance. Someone else jumped off the pokémon as they fixed their silver hair. He took something out of his ears and threw them somewhere into the bushes "I swear, shove something into my ear again and i'll — Chimchim?!" he screamed. Jimin recognized that deep voice and face as Taehyung literally tackled him down the stairs with a hug.

Jimin's pokéball flew out of his belt as Decidueye came out of his ball, confused on what was happening. Jimin groaned and pushed Taehyung off him, rubbing his head "Tae, be careful...that hurt — oomf!" he was pushed down again by another hug "I missed you so much! That Kukui never gives you a day off, and what's with this hair?!" he gaped at his black hair with the orange streaks. Jimin laughed and Hoseok helped them both up. Taehyung and Hoseok looked different from when he last saw them, and they're looking quite attractive.

"We got a day off since we had no challengers lately so here I am." Decidueye huffed and stood next to Jimin. Taehyung awed at the pokémon and stretched out its wing "Anyways, we flew by town and overheard – well, I did," Taehyung turned to glare at him "that a trainer was looking for you, apparently he wants to crush you down." Hoseok shrugged his shoulders. Decidueye glared at something as he pulled Jimin back to protect him. Salamance stood behind Hoseok and Taehyung, ready to attack "Well, well, well, if it isn't Park Jimin." someone clapped as they walked out of the bushes with a Salazzle hissing at them. Decidueye spread its wing, shielding Jimin from any damage "What business do you have with me?" he asked.
