I stare at the clock waiting for it to be 3AM, my favorite hour. No one is up and I can do mostly anything I want. I twirl my brown hair as I attempt to draw the anatomy of a human being. As I do that, I get interrupted by the door of my dark blue room slamming open.
"Nora get yourself over here or I will smack you!" My mother yells breaking the silence. I don't move at all, I just stare at her.
She comes over to my wooden desk, spins by black chair to face her and she slaps my pale face.
"Why didn't you move, you little rat!" She screams as she hits my soft skin again, "Why don't you answer me!"
I have every right to not answer her. I don't want to deal with her now.
She storms out of my room with a baseball bat, ok that's strange. She never gets anything larger than a belt. She bolts towards me, hitting me in the chest as I feel like 10 million daggers just got stabbed into my body. She hits me across my back a little bit harder as I shiver a bit.
"This is what you get for not doing well at life," She shouts hitting my stomach as if she tried to get a home run and missed.
"This is what you get for not doing all the damn chores I asked you to do," my mother loudly yells as she hits my chin. Blood starts to slowly drip from my chin as I let out a soft yelp.
"And this is what you get for existing!" My mother yells hitting me in the head as my vision gets darker and darker.
