The cold air from mid October was crashing into his cheeks. Frozen, painting them with a reddish color and doing the same with his unprotected hands. Normally, he would have warm globes covering his hands and a scarf around his neck and half face. But since he wasn't planning on being outside at those hours, he wasn't ready for the cold. It was late at night, probably passed three in the morning already, although he wasn't sure. He was walking home from his job, that day he had taken the night turn because he needed the money from the extra hours to pay his dance classes.

He was looking at the sky while walking, but there was not a single star visible from his position. A shame, if there was something good about walking at those hours, was the bast infinity of the sky over him. As a kid, he would pass hours just staring at it and wondering about the whole world under it. And distracted like that, he didn't notice the presence of someone else until it was too late to react and he was already pinned against the wall behind him.

"I can't believe this, the younger son of the Lees being caught out of guard. Today must be my lucky day."

He didn't react normally, his first instinct was to fight back who was holding him. But that didn't last more than a second, because he was able to recognize the silver hair in front of him.

"Chan, if you do that once again, I can't promise you to not try to kill you right away" he said, and the guy that was holding him against the wall laughed in response.

"You? Killing me? That's like a fly trying to kill a human, don't you think, Felix?"

Felix rolled his eyes. Because deep inside he knew this was true, not that he was going to admit it anyways. And so, he tried to push Chan and free himself, didn't work out.

"Why are you bothering me at these hours?"

"You hurt my feelings, I seriously thought you liked my presence" Felix sighed.

"You know what I mean" he said, putting his hand on the guys' chest "I just came out of work, and I'm tired."

Finally, Chan eased the grip on him. Not that he let him free, but at least now he wasn't stuck to the wall like a pin.

"I..." he hesitated "I was hungry" he said after a few seconds, and looked in the opposite direction.

Felix let out a small oh in comprehension. And using his small frozen hands, he turn the guy's face towards himself.

"Go ahead."

"But—"

"I've told you a million times already, it's okay."

Chan snorted. He knew that Felix was okay with it, but he himself wasn't. He didn't trust in his autocontrol or ability to think when he was feeding. And even less when it was from nobody else than Lee Felix, the youngest son of the the famous family of hunters known for being as temptingly delicious as lethal.

But he had no other choice, did he?

"Before you fall asleep, I wanna tell you that dying your hair red so it would remind me to your blood, was your best and worst idea ever."

And with those words said, he approached Felix neck slowly. His fangs growing out as he got closer, larger fangs than any human would ever possess. Right, because he wasn't entirely human, but vampire.

At this point, Felix was used to sensation of the the sharp teeth piercing through his skin. Followed by the morphing-like drug that would make their preys stop fighting against them. He could feel it spread throughout his entire body, making his shoulders feel heavy and ceasing any pain in his neck. Then running through his arms, stopping the movement of his fingers. Felix took the opportunity of wrapping his arms around Chan's shoulders before this happened. And feeling like he lost control of his limbs short after. The chemical continued traveling, finally taking away any chances for him to scape, in case he wanted to.

Being bitten by a vampire —that is not planning on killing you— had it's benefits. The chemical realized by their teeth was like a drug and it would make you feel at peace and calmed, generally taking you to a painless death. In Felix's case, he would just feel high and weak for a few hours.

After like a minute, which felt like heaven for Felix, Chan had already taken his fangs out of his skin. Another good thing was that the same poison that would convert you into a vampire in case of death, would take care of closing the wound a few seconds after the vampire was done with you. So Felix had no worries about that.

Chan could feel Felix shaking under him, and so he took off his completely useless jacket and wrapped it around the boy. Then took him on his back carefully, completely aware of the boy's condition and obviously feeling guilty about it. Felix held onto him with all the strength he had left, not a lot, honestly.

"Remember... be careful, if—"

"My parents or Minho find us, would be your death and the day I've finally been kicked out of the heritage," Chan mocked him, repeating the same old line "I will be careful, don't worry."

And so, Felix buried his face in Chan's neck and shoulder, allowing himself to fall into Morpheus' arms.

"And I love you."
