Torment

Piercing screams carried down the stone halls as villagers walked past the castle.  The Lord Commander's castle.  All of the guards listened, unmoving.   Deep inside the castle in a dark room was the Lord Commander.  There were chains on the walls, and hooks that had shock collars on them.  These collars also worked as trackers, which made it even easier for the Lord Commander to control anyone.    Another cry was heard, and the Lord Commander smiled in pleasure.  Gary was strapped down onto a stone table, and the Lord Commander kept shocking him with the collar.  The smell of the room made Gary's nose wrinkle, and the air was cold.  His body shivered as the electricity stopped.  Four guards stood around the table, but the Lord Commander stood right next to Gary.

"Does that feel good?" asked the tormentor. The small green alien tousled a piece of the man's blonde hair, letting it slide through his fingers. Gary couldn't muster enough strength to pull away from him.

"Not..not really.."

"But would you rather take it then watch Quinn or Mooncake die?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Any day."  No matter how much pain and torture the Lord Commander would bring him, Gary knew the safety of Mooncake, Quinn and Little Cato was far more important.

Another shock was sent through, causing him to bite his lip, attempting to stifle a cry.

"I'm going to change you.  I'm going to make you work for me."

"B-but I told you I would do anything you wanted."

"Yes.  Almost anything.  But I know if I tell you to bring me Mooncake without messing with your head, you won't do it.  I have to rearrange a few things in there first." he finished.

"No..I'd never."  Attempting to break the restraints, Gary pulled with his arms, using some random burst of energy to break the chains. Only a moment passed before he took a deep breath, knowing he damn well wouldn't be able to break metal. Even his prosthetic arm couldn't save him.

"You say that now."  The Lord Commander pressed the button, sending another wave of electricity.

"GNNHA...." Gary's teeth clenched together.  He was breathing heavily.

"Bring me Mooncake." The Lord Commander stepped forward.

"No." Gary answered.

"Bring me Mooncake.  Bring me Mooncake alive." .

"No!" shouted Gary.  He knew fighting with this guy was a mistake, especially yelling at him. It wasn't a surprise as the collar shocked him harder this time, lasting longer than the others. His resolve was about to crack, he couldn't handle this much longer.

"P-please..." Gary whimpered .  Tears were forming in the sides of his eyes.  He didn't want to cry, especially not in front of his worst enemy.  Yet, the pain was becoming so much. Too much.

"I'll give you one last chance to do as I saw without corrupting you...bring me Mooncake.  And I will spare Quinn." he ordered.

Gary took in a deep breath.

"Don't-don't touch Quinn...I will not bring you Moon-Mooncake..." Gary prepared himself.

The Lord Commander's eyes seemed to turn yellow.

"Fine! I gave you a chance to do this without taking over your mind!  But you've lost it!"  Gary's collar shocked him again, causing his body to spasm, being constrained by the leg and arm restraints that held him to the table.

The Lord Commander's hands grabbed the man's head, holding it down to the table.

"Wha-What are you doing?" asked Gary, struggling to free himself.

Suddenly, it felt as if someone had hit him hard in the back of the head.  Darkness clouded his vision and he lost consciousness.
