"Kagome!" My three best friends called me and I rushed over them
"I'm so excited for today! I can't wait to see it!" Eri said
"See what?" I asked as I had no idea what Eri was talking about
"Silly, kagome you really don't have any idea what's going on?" Yuka added
"They're gonna hold a program called best couple!, The program is actually a secret so nobody knows what will be the contestants doing, but I overheard it earlier that It's a challenge course" Ayumi leaned in
"Aaahh.....I see...." I said sarcastically
"You should join in the program!" Yuka suggested
"Huh...?"
"Bring that boyfriend of yours!" Ayumi added
Wait....what...they Mean.....inuyasha?
"I'm sure that the others would be jealous of your boyfriend kagome, he's pretty cool by the way...." Eri winked and I blushed
"H...He's a very b..b..b..busy p..p....person" I lied and they showed a face of disappointment

Kira's POV
I was listening to kagome and her friends talking about that program...............
"Kira-chan we need you over here!"
Nanami our class president dragged me to the kitchen
"Nanami-chan......are you joining the best couple program?" I asked her and she blushed a little
"Umm....yeah...." she replied shyly
"That's great...." I cheered her up
"What about you Kira-chan? Do you have a boyfriend?" Nanami asked me straightforward and I stopped smiling and began thinking

"Kira.........." Sesshomaru called me
"Huh...yes? What....?" I stuttered
"Look at me in the eye, stop avoiding me......you've been doing that since last week" He said coldly
"S..S..sorry..." I replied and nodded
"Kira, I said look at me in the eye...." Sesshomaru grabbed me in the arm then to the waist
"S....S..S....sessho...maru.." I breathed silently
"I'm only gonna say this once, remember this, you're mine and mine only kira" he whispered in my ear
he cupped my chin and I looked up at his face and looked straight into his golden eyes
"S...S..S...Sesshomaru-sama..." I called

Stop thinking about last night Kira! Baka! Baka! Baka!
"I don't really know nanami, I can't tell" I answered
"He must really love you, I mean every boy in our school likes you!" She smiled widely
"Ahhh.... I hope so" I smiled back awkwardly and nanami dashed away to help the others
"So you really like that dog demon's son don't you princess?" A voice on my right suddenly appeared
"Mamoru-kun!" I said in shock
"At your service princess!" He smiled
"Hide or else people will see you!" I panicked
"Dont worry princess, humans cannot see me" Mamoru-kun assured and I sighed in relief
"Why are you here? I didn't even call you?" I wondered
"I've been watching over you princess, and you seem to be thinking about that dog demon" he said as he then flew over me
"I....I don't like Sesshomaru!" I stuttered
"I see, well he's really dashing...he seems your type........" Mamoru-kun teased me
"S..S..stop it! Will you!" I blushed as red as a tomato and mamoru giggled before disappearing

"Come on its starting! Let's see it!" The girls swarmed as they went to the open field
Hmm...maybe I should watch nanami-chan also....
As I arrived, I felt the presence of the Shikon Jewel Shards.....what! They're giving away the Shikon Jewel shards as the reward! H...H....how did they get it!
I have to get those back before kagome does
"Now participants! Fall in line and the program will begin in a minute!" The emcee announced
I saw kagome line up with inuyasha in her side, I knew it....she was also after it, I can't let her take it away from me!
Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted when someone grabbed my hand and went to fall in line
"Sesshomaru-sama?" I gasped in shock
"Why didn't you tell me earlier that you were leaving!" He said with his stoic expression
" I....I....-
"For the first round! It's track and field, whoever places in the top 15 proceeds to the next round!"
"On your mark, get set.........GO!" The emcee yelled and we started running
"Sesshomaru-sama, are you alright with this!" I asked him
" I know you want those jewel shards kira! You want to win over kagome and inuyasha don't you?" He replied
"H...H...how did you?
" I just knew, now hold my hand and run with all your speed......don't hesitate to use that demon side of you kira" Sesshomaru said as he reached out his hand
"I will" I replied as I held back his hand and we darted in full speed
"And in first place, Kira Higurashi, In second place Kagome Higurashi, and in third place Nanami hayashi!" The emcee announced and the crowd cheered loudly
