I woke up the next morning, feeling a different feeling inside of me. I haven't felt this in a long time. Why was it starting to kick in now?
Fear.
I rolled over and my eyes widened. Ana wasn't here.
I got dressed real quick and ran outside. I looked around at everyone, and everybody wasn't acting the same. We all knew that this place wasn't safe anymore.
Andrea was still laying by Amy, who still hasn't turned yet. I looked over at Carol, who was in tears as she dug an axe through Ed's head. The men were moving all of the walkers away from the RV. They were also moving all of the dead people.
"Our people go over there." I heard Glenn say.
I looked over and I saw Daryl and T-Dog putting one of our men who died last night in the walker pile.
"We don't burn them! We bury them!" Glenn yelled.
I saw he had tears in his eyes. Glenn was such a good guy. I ran over to Lori and Carl, who were sitting in chairs by the campfire.
"Hi." Carl said to me.
"Hi. Have you guys seen Ana?" I asked them.
"I saw her go into the RV earlier." Lori said kindly.
I love Lori.
"Thanks." I smiled.
Lori smiled and I ran to the RV. I stopped in my tracks and I looked at Andrea. I frowned as she sat there, staring at Amy's corpse. I went over to her and sat down next to her.
"Do you want me to stay with you?" I asked.
She smiled but shook her head.
"No, but thank you." She said.
I put my arms around her and she hugged me back. We pulled away and I smiled at her. I stood up and went into the RV. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw her in the RV with my mom.
"Hey honey." My mom walked over and planted a kiss on my forehead.
"How's Andrea?" Ana asked me.
"Not good." I said.
I heard a gunshot go off outside and my mom grabbed her gun. I looked out the door and I saw Amy had a gunshot in her head. She must've turned when I went inside. Andrea grabbed her sister's hand and she started to cry. My mom put her gun away and walked over to my dad. Ana stood next to me at the doorframe.
"I wish there was something we could do." She said.
"Me too."
"Let's go find Sophia. She needs us." Ana said.
That's right. She just lost her dad. He was a douche anyway, but he was still her dad. We started over to Sophia, but Jacqui's cries cut us off.
"Jim got bit by a walker!"
I looked over at Jim, just like everyone else and there was blood on his shirt. I didn't look dry either. I felt a tight grip on my arm.
"Show it to us!" Daryl yelled.
I started breathing heavily as Jim started backing away from everybody. T-Dog grabbed him and Daryl pulled up his shirt. Ana gasped and I held my hand up to my mouth. Jim had a big bloody bite on his ribs.
"Shit." Carly said.
"Watch your mouth." My mom shot.
She rolled her eyes and walked away. I frowned as I watched her stomp into her tent. What was her problem?
