Chapter 2

XU MINGHAO waited outside in the courtyard for Junhui.

He even tried his best to look cute. Even though Jun had a girlfriend, he still wanted to impress his best friend/crush. His dark hazelnut hair was a little messy, his white t-shirt was exposing his sides, and the dark jeans made his outfit complete.

He was about to text Jun when he saw Jun's girlfriend - Jieqiong. It looked like she was waiting for someone. Wait, who's that guy? A man around the same age as Minghao stride over to Jieqiong and wrapped his arms around her. Maybe that's why Junhui gē asked me to hang out with him? So he can tell me that him and Jieqiong broke up? Minghao thought, then shook his head. He shouldn't get his hopes up.

Hey I'm here where are you?

Low and behold, Jun was in the courtyard looking around for Minghao, at the opposite side of the courtyard from Minghao, Jieqiong, and the man. What if Jieqiong is cheating on Junhui gē? Should I tell him.... hell yea that girl's a bitch anyway.

Minghao put on a mischievous smile. "JUNHUI GĒ~~~~~!!!" He yelled. At the corner of his eye, he can see Jieqiong looking at his direction, then at Jun with wide eyes. Jun smiled and Minghao's heart started racing.

"Hey Hao Hao~!" Jun said walking towards him. His walking slowed down when he saw Jieqiong and the man.

"Jie? What are you doing here? I thought you were busy?" Jun asked her. The man next to her put an arm around her protectively. "Babe who's this?" "Ah, um.." Minghao scoffed. "Babe?" Minghao was about to step forward and smack that guy or Jieqiong, he didn't care. But then an arm stopped him and it was Junhui.

"E-excuse me? Did he just call you babe?" Oh fuck Minghao thought, someone's about to get hurt. "Jun-" Jieqiong started, but Jun pointed a finger at her. Minghao noticed that his eyes were getting a bit watery.

"Shut up. I-i don't want to hear your excuse. This is why you didn't wanna come with me earlier? Because you were out with this ugly assho-" Junhui didn't get to finish his sentence, the man hit Jun right in the stomach. "What did you call me?"

Fuck it, I'll do it myself. "He said asshole, deaf bastard. " Minghao responded for Jun, who was kneeling on the floor. "And he's right. You're going out with that bitch too-"

The man cut Minghao off, swinging his fist to Hao's face. But Minghao never loses a fight. He doges and manages to kick the guy square in the nose. "Ah! Fuck what th-" This time, the man is the one who gets cut off, because Junhui attacked him from the back, pinning him to the ground, and the man's head hits the floor with a thump.

Jieqiong was no where in sight, and even if she was, Minghao probably would have beaten her ass too for breaking Junhui's heart.

The man laid on the floor, unconscious.  Junhui got up, but held his stomach like he was in pain. Minghao noticed this and quickly ran in front of him. "Gē-gē?" Jun's face was so close to Minghao's... and then he collapsed on top of Him. Ugh seriously? Junhui wasn't heavy by all means, it's that if Junhui wakes up, he might feel/hear minghao's heart race 10x more than it normally should have.
