I tried to scream but all I heard was a howl. I started worrying about how I would ever get out of this new form I'd taken. As I paced, I couldn't help but see out of my peripheral vision that the wolf in the mirror did the same. But I also noticed how the last few rays of light from the window made the animal's coat shine.

That's when I finally realized that the sun was setting. I would be able to leave soon, but I was stuck as a wolf. I decided to look at the doors to see if they finally opened, and they did. As soon as I was near they opened on their own account as if they had been waiting for me.

I went around and took one last look at the only place I've ever known. I walked back towards the mirror, finally deciding that I should at least take in my new form before running off.

I was shocked as I looked at the beautiful wolf staring back at me. The creature had a silver coat with black on its legs, twisting around and around until the markings faded into silver like the majority of the coat. I then looked into the eyes and was entranced, these were not my eyes. My eyes were gray and lifeless but the eyes staring back were anything but lifeless. The vibrant green orbs stared back at me, I noticed a small silver ring along the outside edge before the colors faded to white.

I walked around once more. This time, I grabbed a blanket and used my mouth to try to lay it flat. After about five minutes, I was satisfied. I then busied myself, grabbing clothes gently in my mouth and laying them down in the center of the blanket. I then walked off once more to get my hairbrush and some food. I then took one corner of the small blanket into my mouth and pulled it towards the middle. I did this with every corner until I had a sack with my belongings in it.

I ran out the door without looking back. I somehow knew I would never see this place again, and I was glad.

The world around me was beautiful. There were trees and what I believe were called flowers. Suddenly, I heard a voice.

'Hello little one, I am Faith. I suggest we stay here for tonight. Tomorrow I will explain everything, I promise. Now sleep little one, you're safe.'

I didn't know what that was but I trusted that voice. It seemed as if it were coming from inside my head though. Doing as Faith, the mystery voice, told me, I laid down and put my sack to the side. I rested my head on my paws and heard Faith say 'goodnight little one,' before I was lost in sleep.
