Epilogue 2/3 How Do We Rewrite The Stars

"Tan-ie? Where are you?" Taehyung calls as soon as he woke up. He rub his eyes few times before scanning his bed room. Yeontan usually stay in his room until he woke up.

Furrow his eyebrow, the man stand up and checking every part of his room, under the sheets, under the bed, inside Tan's tiny house, behind the curtain, but that cute fluffy fury things are nowhere to be seen.

Worried, Taehyung walk out from his room and keep calling Yeontan names, until his ears catch Yeontan's barking voices. Following the voice, he arrived in their back yard.

Halt out of sudden, Taehyung catch the figure of his lovely puppy, but he's not alone. He's cuddling with a girl that wearing Taehyung's outfits. She was laughing and hugging Yeontan in her embrace. Somehow the scene makes his lips form a small smile.

How come he forgot that he has a company since last night.

Suddenly, Yeontan notice Taehyung's presence and run to him which makes the girl attention shift to Taehyung as well.

"Oh! You're awake! Sorry, I play with your puppy! He followed me when I walk out from room and I can't say no to him." She apologized as she stood up and approach Taehyung.

"That's okay. I was just wondering where he is, since he usually around when I woke up." Taehyung squat down to hold Yeontan and secure him in his embrace.

"He's so adorable, like the moment he jumped to my lap last night makes me fall for him instantly. It's like I've seen him before, just like you." She smiled cheerfully but Taehyung didn't.

He was surprised. Surprised because of the sudden feelings that he felt. He was scared and confused.

"L-Let's get inside." he blurted before turn around, leaving the female furrow her eyebrow but follow him as well.

Not long after that, the boys once again gather in he living room, along with Sejin manager. Taehyung told him everything and he listen carefully before open up his mouth.

"Okay. This is new and unbelievable. Let's just do this. I'll find a place for her to stay while we find out about what happened, about her identity. We'll try check the list of people who went missing in all police center."

"Is it okay? I mean, what if the media find out?" Hoseok asked.

"We'll try to keep it lowkey but first, we need to get her out of here. It's dangerous to keep her around." Sejin continue said staring at her, who suddenly try to hide behind Taehyung and shaking her head.

"C-can I just stay here? I don't remember everyone and I don't know where to go." She mumbles slowly to Taehyung with puppy eyes and Taehyung softened at her expression.

"Hyung, can we jus-"

"And we have to bring her to doctor to check her condition, physically and mentally." Sejin cut Taehyung off and he just let out a sigh.

After all of them dismiss and get ready to their schedule, Taehyung pull her to his room and locked the door.

"Listen to me. You'll go to doctor today with Sejin hyung and I won't be there with you because I have schedule whole day, okay?" Taehyung said but she just keep shaking her head with sad expression. "You can trust Sejin hyung. He's a nice guy, trust him and you'll be okay. He will bring you back again here after the check up done. We'll meet again tonight, I promise." Taehyung added and pull out his pinky fingers, looking seriously at the innocent female in front of her.

Slowly but sure, she link her pinky fingers to Taehyung's and finally nod.

"You won't kick me out, right? I promise I will behave well and listen to you. I won't cause any problem, just don't kick me out." She plead.

"I won't. I promise, right?" Taehyung said with a little smile.

Later that night, Taehyung who just done all of their schedule that day walked to their dorm with faster steps than his usual one. He didn't know why, maybe it's because of her, but he shrug it off and use Yeontan as his own excuse.

"Yes, I"m excited because I wanted to meet Yeontan. Right?" He mumbles to himself before shaking his own head and open their apartment door.

"Yeont-..anie...." his voice fade out as soon as he caught the glimpse of her body laying on the couch.

Slowly but sure he walk towards to that figure and squat down for a better view.

"Eo? She sleeps in here? Why she didn't sleep in your room?" Jimin asked once he saw her.
⠀
"I don't know. Hey. Wake up." Taehyung shrug and slowly tap on her shoulder.

Slowly she moves, open her eyes and smile at the view of Taehyung.
⠀
"I was waiting for you." She said and that single sentence was enough to make the man beside her flustered.

No one ever makes him feel like this before.

"It's late. Go sleep in the bedroom." Taehyung clear his throat and stood up awkwardly.

"Alright. I can sleep peacefully now." She muttered before walk to Taehyung's bedroom.

Next day, in the early of morning, Namjoon stood up in a rush after he read something from his computer screen.

"This is unbelievable." He muttered, disbelief about what he just read. "I have to tell Taehyung." He quickly run to Taehyung's room.

"Byul! Why you show him what happened thousand years ago about the previous cosmic error?? It will makes them send her back in no time??" Haneul hissed, found out about Byul purposely makes the article appear for Namjoon who has been search the answers and explaination about the magical event.

"We have to, Haneul. This is wrong. If we keep them longer together, it will hurt both of them, this is the best way."

"But look at them." Haneul said as she moved both of them into Taehyung's room where Namjoon already stood there with softened expression.

On the bed, there's Taehyung and Yoonji, cuddling together under the sheets. Yoonji probably forget to sleep on the couch and went to bed instead also Taehyung probably went drunk after a drink few glasses of beer last night, which makes him went to bed and cuddling with her like this.

Moreover, Taehyung always sleep better when he hug something or someone.

"Look how comfortable they're together. Do you want to ruin it?"

"They can't be together in this situation, Haneul. Painful truth is better for them than the comforting lies." Byul defend and Haneul just sighing sadly.

Suddenly, Namjoon turn around leaving the room.

"I guess, they're starting to grow feelings for each other. That's wrong. They can't be together. It's wrong." Namjoon thought in his mind but still didn't bother to turn around and separate both of them.

Then, she woke up and widened her eyes when she saw Taehyung was just right in front of her, with his arms securely linger around her waist. They're so close that she can even smell his smell. It makes her flustered.

Slowly, she reached out her hand and touch Taehyung's hair. It's soft. She smiled a bit before her eyes travelled down to his sleeping face. His eyelashes are so long and beautiful. His nose, his chocolate cheeks and his plumpy red lips.

Everything are so familiar for her, but why she doesn't remember anything? She know Taehyung is someone important for her, but she didn't remember anything.

With the unsolved puzzle in her head, she didn't realize that she lean closer to close the gap between their lips and place her lips on Taehyung's soft lips. She close her eyes feeling how her lips brush over his, she didn't dare to move after awhile.

Then, right when she lean back and open her eyes, a pair of beautiful eyes that belong to the man he just kissed looking at her with unexplainable gaze.

Her jaw drop.

"I- I'm-"

"What you think you're doing?" He asked coldly.
⠀
"I'm sorry, I just-"
⠀
"If you wanted to do it, you have to do it properly."

"H-huh? What do you me-" she can't finish her sentence because the man cut her again, with his lips.

This time, Taehyung is the one who lean closer to her while his hand pull her closer to him by holding her waist. He kiss her, not just a peck, but a real kiss.

She was surprised, she know it's wrong, but she can't deny that she want this too. So, slowly but sure she kiss him back as she put her arms around his neck.

"Please stay here and don't leave." Taehyung whisper after they parting to catch breathe. Both are panting hard with their swollen lips.

"This is wrong, Taehyung. You know I want you. It's not a secret I try to hide but I can't have you. We're bound to break and my hands are tied."

"You claim it's not in the cards. Fate might pulling you miles away and out of reach from me but you're here in my heart. So who can stop me if I decide that you're my destiny? What if we rewrite the stars?"
