Minna Kuran The Forgotten Child

Chapter 2

"Hmm. Oh. Right no one else is here are they? I wonder where they went" Takuma answers as I narrow my eyes at him, I think he knows where they are.

"Excuse me" I mumble as I stand and bow to Kaname and hurry out the door, I don't get why I still have to ask his permission to leave, well I kinda just left but at least I bowed.

I sniffed the air for anyones scent and I got Senri, Rima, Akatsuki, Hanabusa and Ruka's scent, I furrow my eyebrows and sniff again,  my eyes widen their with zero. I quickly run to where I smelt them and come across quite the scene.  I watch as Zero flips Akatsuki over his shoulder a growl left my lips and my eyes go their crimson red color.

"So uncool" Rima and Senri say in unison as I decided to appear now.

"Shut up" Akatsuki answers as I stand infront of the night class facing away from Zero as I stare them down,  they still obey me since I am a pure blood.

"Mina chan, what are you doing here?" Hanabusa asks as I give them all a glare.

"No what are you doing here? All of you get back to class" I say as you can hear the authority in it. I was shocked since I never got angry at anyone I left that to Kaname but what I didn't know was why I was defending Zero, a level E and vampire hunter.

"But-" Hanabusa tried to say but I cut him off with a glare. They all sigh and leave as I turn to Zero to see Yuki there. I blink in surprise because I didn't see her or hear her.

"Yuki" I say surprised as I blink away my red eyes as she bows to me.

"Thank you Mina chan for stopping the fight and protecting Zero" she says as she smiles, I felt a smile find its way onto my lips as I see mother in Yuki.

"She wasn't really protecting me" Zero sighs as I chuckle at them. He still had his bloody rose pointing at me as he was about to put it away.

"I must be going back to class now, cya around" I smile as I turn to walk away. I hear Yuki gasp as I spin around to see what's wrong only to fall to my knees in pain, as I grab my stomach.

"It was an accident" Zero says surprised as I cough up some blood.

"Zero get headmaster Cross or someone" Yuki starts to panic as I wince although I am a pureblood that bullet hurt like hell.

"Yuki, Zero what happened?" I hear Kaname ask as I felt my stomach twist in nerves as I stand up trying to stop the bleeding.

"It was an accident" I say as some blood trails down my chin, I wipe it away with my right hand as my left puts pressure on my wound.

"How can you accidentally shoot someone?" Kaname asks again as he steps closer to me but I back away from him as he stopped coming closer, I cough again. I was upset and angry at him, the only time he acknowledges me is when I am iniured and he even threw away my chocolate.

"Don't,  I am fine" I wince as another shot of pain erupts in my stomach, I try to walk away. My knees buckle as Zero catches me, I was surprised, I see regret in his eyes, I try to smile, I know this bullet won't kill me unless it stays there, I try to say something but only cough up more blood. I see a bit of crimson and panic in Zero's eyes, I guess he never told Yuki what he has become.

I sigh and push him away as I nod to run, I watch him quickly scurry away as Yuki looks after him, I know she has a crush on both Zero and kaname and I know they both have feelings for her as well.

"I'm sorry" She apologizes as she runs after him.

"Mina-" Kaname starts but darkness clouds my vision as I faint.
