Lily's POV:

"She's going to shoot him, that's not Paige!" I whispered to Caitlin, who was laying on her side against the wall.

"We have to run..AND NOW!" I quietly picked Caitlin off of the floor and tiptoed into the hallway.

I jumped at the sound of a gunshot.

Tears ran down my cheek, I am not going to get murdered in my own house by my own sister.

Not today anyway.

I grabbed Caitlin's hand and we slowly tiptoed upstairs.

"It's no use! She'll find us" sniffled Caitlin, looking behind us to see if she was following

"Do you want to die tonight? No? So listen to what I say" I demanded, under a lot of stress

"So you want to hide now? Okay! Let's PLAY" Paige yelled from the living room.

Who knew that one day Paige was going to be the cause of my death?

Don't think like that Lily focus!

I need to find a hiding space..

The attic!

The only place where Paige never set foot in!

I heard drawers slamming, coming from the kitchen.

"Come out, come out..wherever you are.." I heard her yell

It was as if I was stuck in a continuous, never-ending horror film.

My hands trembled and my breathing shortened.

"We have to hurry" we dragged our feet up the stairs, trying our hardest not to make a noise.

But oh god how much we regretted stepping foot into the attic.

Immediately, my nose began inhaling the smell of rotting flesh..

I turned to look at the scene which lay beside me.

I clasped my chest and dragged myself to the corner of the attic, my mouth still open from what I had just seen.

From what I had just smelt.

More tears spilt down my cheek until I felt like I had no more tears left in me.

There were several dead bodies scattered all over the attic floor.

The elderly,
The young,
The middle-aged,

Some of the bodies were rotting away, some looked fresh.

There was enough blood for a dozen of hungry lions to drink.

It was a horrific sight..

And that's when I knew

In that moment

That my little sister was a monster.

I looked over at Caitlin

Caitlin didn't look very traumatised at what she had just seen.

Not as traumatised as me anyway.

She acted as if she wasn't shocked or in horror at what she had just seen, almost as if she was used to this kind of thing.

But that didn't stop me from pulling her into a hug.

"We will get revenge for all these innocent souls lost, I promise" I said, squeezing her tighter.

"I'm getting warmer.." Paige interrupted.

She was right below us now.
