'Ok, guys settle down! So, for your mid-term project, I would like you to write something that, well, write about anything. Anything you like, hate, what you're passionate about. And after the holidays, you will come up in front of the class and perform it. Any questions?' Your music teacher asked the class. You had a question so, naturally, you raised your hand.

'Yes (Y/N)?'

'When you say, "perform", does that mean we have to like, make a skit or sing or... And also do we perform with our partner or what'

'Ah. Good question. You can sing or rap or make a skit. Even a poem! Express yourself. And you perform your own thing, with your partner or without, up to you. And since I know you guys want to choose your own partners, I have decided to be mean and destroy that wish. I have already chosen your partners for you.'

The whole class groaned out loud when they heard that. You especially. You weren't a very... social person. Well, in your class at least. You didn't talk to many people in your class, preferring to stay with your friends from other classes because, well. Socialising isn't fun. In your case anyway. So the idea of having to talk to someone you might not know in class kinda terrified you. It's okay (Y/N). Think on the bright side. You can make friends! Which, come on, ain't very easy for you. You thought to yourself and smiled, cheered up at the prospect of maybe making a Friend.

Your teacher read out names of the people who would be partners with each other. After reading out some names, she had finally got to yours, for which you were impatiently waiting for. 'Let's see, who's next... Ah. (Y/N) and Yoongi.'

Oh crap.

You snuck a glance over to yoongi and almost died because of his expression, which seemed to be very annoyed. You were afraid of him because, he always looked like the type of person who would kill someone if they asked him for a pencil. Because of his unfriendly expression, people stayed away from him, thinking that he was rude or something.

Your teacher then told everyone to go and sit with there partners and to use the remaining time to choose what they were going to do.

You walked over to Yoongi's table. On the way there you were thinking to yourself. Okay. Maybe he's really nice. I mean. I won't judge him based off other people's opinions. So just be friendly. Remember. You are making a new Friend. Or at least, trying to. Come on (Y/N)! Fighting!' You cheered yourself on quietly.

Upon reaching his table, you smiled widely and pulled up a chair. 'Hi Yoongi! I'm (Y/N)!' You said cheerfully. His eyes widened. You thought he was annoyed at you for being too loud and thus, quickly apologised. 'What are you apologising for?' He said softly. You quietly gasped. It was your first time hearing his voice and you were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't as harsh as you'd thought it'd be. It was, kinda pleasant to hear actually.

'Oh, um. I thought maybe I was too loud, because, I mean, your eyes widened. So I didn't know whether you got annoyed at me or yeah.' You replied blushing under his stare. He shook his head and said, ' Oh. I'm sorry then. I wasn't annoyed. I was just, curious. People usually avoid me because of my expressions so I'd thought you'd avoid me too and be awkward and whatever around me.' You nodded, understanding. 'No. I mean. I've never talked to you so I wouldn't really know what you are like. I'm not like the others, judging people based on what other people think. That's just rude, not giving someone a chance just because of what others say or do.' You told him and he smiled.

And that's when you almost died.

Omg omg omg. That was. The cutest smile I've ever seen. Like. EVER. Holy McNuggets. You thought inside. At that moment you knew that your life goal was to always make Yoongi smile.
