Gabriella's POV
Finally the bell rung signaling that the first hour was done. As I got out of my seat and grabbed my bag, I heard someone clear their throat. I turned and remembered that I promised Harry I would walk him to his next class.
"Oh yeah, sorry I almost forgot. You ready?"
"Yup." He replied popping the p.
As I walked down the hallway and to the next class I couldn't help but ask him why he came all the way from Holmes Chapel to a little suburb outside London.
"Harry, why would you want to move to South Groove? I mean it's a nice town but not that interesting."
He looked at me and smiled then replied with, "It's something different."
I was confused and was about to press on but then he stopped and I realized we were at Mrs. LH's room.
"Well thank you Gabriella for walking me here, maybe we could meet up after school and get to know each other better, I mean I don't have any friends really." He said scratching the back of his neck.
"Yeah sure just meet me in the parking lot after 6 hour."
He smiled and walked into his classroom, as I walked into mine I was thinking about what we wanted to do when we "meet up".
After 6 Hour
I was standing in the parking lot leaning against the light pole when a black escalade pulled up beside me and chocolate curls popped out the window.
"Ready?"
"Yeah sure." I reached for the handle and pulled the door open climbing in.
"So what did you have in mind?"
"Well I don't know I'm new here, but I heard there's a party at this club, we should go." He says putting the car in gear and speeding out of the lot.
"Y-yeah sure." I smile weakly. Why would he go out on a Monday, and better yet why is there a party on a Monday? It didn't make sense. As we drove to the club, I glanced at Harry and smiled. I think he could maybe be a good friend, if he doesn't turn out to be like Jack.
"Hey, what are you thinking about?"
I looked up and fiddled with my fingers, "Nothing really. Dwelling on the past I guess." I weakly smiled.
He smiled back, I looked at the road and realized we were at the club. The music was blaring I feel bad if any people live around here. He stopped the car and unbuckled getting out of the car. As I unbuckled I heard my door open and saw Harry holding out a hand to me.
"Thank you," I blushed.
As we walked to the front door Harry walked in and put his hand on my lower back.
I flinched back but quickly recollected myself and muttered a sorry.
We were walking through the club when Harry bent down and yelled in my ear he was getting us something to drink. I nodded and went to sit down. As I was waiting for Harry I looked towards the dance floor and saw sweaty bodies grinding on each other. I closed my eyes felt the bass boom through my body. When I opened my eyes and looked around, they landed on a familiar figure, but it was to dark to tell. Harry got back and handed me a coke.
"So do you like to dance?" He asked looking out to the dance floor.
"Yeah sometimes but I haven't in awhile."
He turned to me and smirked, "Well then I better get you out there." he grabbed my hand and lead me to the middle.
He put his hands on my hips and started to sway back and forth slowly then picked up speed an started to jump like everybody else. I picked up on it and started to dance too. It made me happy dancing again, doing something, being me again. Jack was nothing to me anymore, he was dead to me. But right now he didn't matter as Harry and spun around in circles I saw someone watching us, I squinted my eyes to see better. it was as if all life drained from my body. Suddenly it seemed as if there was no music, and the people dancing were figments of my imagination.
I couldn't breathe. I couldn't move, the icy stare of this man froze me to the spot. The brown eyes crinkled towards the end and an evil grin overtook the beautiful, sinister face.
Jack...
