Make Me Believe

Chapter 3 part 2

Slowly but surely, Forth became part of Beam's daily routine. They were still not boyfriends yet. But, Forth was always be there wherever Beam was and whenever he need him. And without Beam realized it, he started to enjoy Forth's company, help, and attention.

That was why, when Forth didn't show up in front of him for four days, Beam was looking for the head hazer. It was not like Forth just disappeared. No. The engineering student had told Beam that he had to go out of town for his SOTUS activity.

"I have to go out of town till Wednesday for the hazing activity. Is it okay for you?" Forth told Beam when they had dinner together one day.

"If i say no, would you not go?" Beam challenged Forth. He knew Forth was responsible and wouldn't leave his team just for him. Beam just wanted to tease him.

Forth didn't answer.

"You would still go, right? Then, what is the point of asking me? Just go. No need to ask whether i am okay or not with that," Beam continued.

"No," Forth said that made Beam raised his eyebrows in question. "I'll still go. But, i will go back and forth between your place and there. I will come whenever you call me. I may not be able to be by yourside on time, but i will still be there for you at the end."

Beam blinked. He could see the determination in Forth's eyes. He really didn't expect that kind of response.

"Just go. I will be okay. Phana and Kit will be here. I can ask them if i ever need something," Beam replied after a while.

"Just do your job as head hazer and come back here on wednesday," Beam added without looking at Forth. But still, the later was happy hearing what Beam said.

That's how Beam didn't meet Forth for four days. Forth should be back tomorrow. And Beam knew so well that he wouldn't see the taller guy even tho he visited Engineering Faculty. But, he still went to Engineering faculty.

After finishing his last class, Beam drove his car to Engineering Faculty. He didn't go in. Beam just passed by. He thought that maybe, seeing that faculty would make his feeling a lil bit at ease.

When he drove away from the faculty and took the road to his dorm, unexpected things happened. Beam's car stopped in the middle of the road. He tried to revive the engine, but it didn't work. Gave up, Beam decided to call car repair service.

Unfortunately, his phone was dead. Beam didn't know he was out of battery.

"Damn it!!" Beam hit his head on the steering wheel.

Beam was there, doing nothing, for more than an hour. It was already pass 7 pm. The sky was getting dark. Beam felt he wanted to cry. He cursed at himself for taking farther way to his dorm just because he wanted to see Engineering building for stupid reason. Now he ended up in the middle of the road, couldn't call anyone for help.

And it was when Beam was losing hope, he thought he started hearing thing. He could hear a familiar motorcycle sound. But, that was impossible since the owner of the motorcycle was out of town.

While Beam was still deep in thought, he was startled by a knock on his car window. And what he saw when he turned his head shocked him even more.

"Forth!"

Beam opened his door to make sure his eyes didn't play trick on him. And it didn't. The one in front of him was really Forth.

"Beam, what are you doing here?" The Engineering student asked.

"What are you doing here?" Beam returned the question, still had not process what was happening.

"You shouldn't be here. You should be out of town, hazing your juniors. You should be back here tomorrow. Then, why are you here??" Beam didn't give Forth time to answer. "Did you lie to me? You wanted to get rid of me, that was why you lied, right? Woahh.. and here i am being stupid. Coming to your faculty for stupid reason and ended up in the middle of nowhere because my car decided to be broke out of sudden and i can't call anyone because my phone is fucking dead."
