Chapter 3 Old friends New beginings

Dick's Pov
Haly's circus

Today is the day, today I am five so I get to start training to be just like my mom and dad I get to do acrobats and flips from a bar that swings in the sky. I am so so so excited but mom also told me that someone special was coming to the circus she said it was one of my old friends but she had to move away I think I remember her how could i forget the girl that saved my life. But that was a long time ago what if she doesn't remember me oh why did she have to leave. "Dick! Come on its time to train Isabelle will be here soon." And now I have to go.

A few hours later

Belles Pov

We finally got there after forever. We pulled in to park but before the car rolled to a stop I was already out the door running to Haly who looked overjoyed to see me oh how I missed this place and what little I remember. I ran up to Haly and gave him a huge hug  I asked him if he could give me a tour while dad and Alfred attended to some business or whatever you wanna call it. Haly agreed and walked me over to each of the acts which was weird because must of them that had been there a while gave me a hug and told me they were sorry but I didnt remember much except Haly and a boy with jet black hair and blue orb eyes. Finally we reached the last act they were called the flying Graysons the name sounded familiar but I couldn't remember why. Until Haly called them over to  meet me.....again? When they walked over it was not what I was expecting I just stared at the boy and he stared back I didnt even notice when the woman came over and called my name then wrapped me up in her arms for a hug I wasn't even paying attention till I felt a cold tear drop roll down her face. I looked up and was so surprised to see that she was crying. I looked at her face and wiped the tear away.

Narrator Pov

Belle:" why are you crying?"deep concern filled Belles voice as she looked at the woman's face trying to find an answer.

Mrs. Grayson:"you look so much like your mother" hot tears still flowed from her eyes, because Belles mother was her best friend since forever and she never really got over the loss.Belle couldn't believe it this woman knew her mother oh how she wished to ask so many questions but decided it rude and to move on. Belle looked back at the boy who was now by his mothers side rubbing her back. All of the sudden the boy whose name was Dick looked at Belle and engulfed her in a hug and kept whispering thank you over and over. And then it clicked that was the boy she saved.

After the show

After the show Dick and Belle were inseparable they did everything together until it was time for Belle to leave. Bruce called her to the car and she started to walk away but she decided to turn around to Dick for one last goodbye because she would probably never see him again for a long time. And said this" You will always be my best friend okay?"she gave a sad smile a single tear slipped down her cheek.

"And you mine, just try to stay whelmed without me okay? "Dick replied smirking a bit while whipping away the tear.

"No promises" was Belles last remark as she turned to leave. Belle climbed in the back seat next to Bruce still staring out the window as they began to drive off. Bruce looked at his daughter with concern filled eyes but also with an evil smirk knowing that one day they work be more than just friends.

"What was that all about?"Bruce questioned his daughter knowing very well what happened.

"It appears Master Bruce that Miss Belle has made a new friend."Alfred replied as Belle stared out the window in silence.
