When La La found out she was given to Badu her hand in marriage she freaked out and went running into the arms of the one she dreamt of being her babies daddy in her dreams. She was livid and besides herself. For Platinum was the man of her dreams and she was the woman of his dreams. So why had her Mother and Father spoiled her whole life. She just had to go crying into the arms of the greatest lover on Earth. 

La La "Platinum she screamed they got me marrying Badu. Some Muslim of their choice and not of mines. My daddy is too powerful if he gets away with this. I love only you my darling and I always have. You love only me my darling and you always have." she cried and she fell into his arms

Platinum "Oh this is not good news to my ears my lovely one. You are my lovely one. I will put a stop to all of this. Your daddy might be the greatest but I am a future King of Music and music shall be heard. My music shall get its just do. I will not stand for it. I will go the the highest court of the land and declare war on justice to prevail. This is not part of our dreams. Not at all." and he fell into her waiting arms as well 

They hugged each other and he got down on one knee and proposed 

Platinum "Laila Ali will you marry me my darling?" and he confessed his love for her as he stayed on bended knee

"Laila Ali all my life I have imagined what it would be like to be in love with such a fair maiden of your kind. All my life I have never wanted to fight the feelings that built up in the chambers of my lonely heart. For it was you that brought to me sheer joy and happiness and it was you that gave me the courage to face what I feared in my dreams. That I might lose you to another. One that your ancestors chose for you. I must fight for your love" as he placed the promise ring on her left ring finger

La La "Platinum they have not succeeded in stealing me away from you for I have loved you for eternity and they must know how my heart breaks for you if they forbid us our stolen moments. I would surely die if they took your love from me. I will never forgive either of them for hurting you like this. No other human on this Earth can compare to you. I was given the chance of a life time. To be your lover. I must fight for your love" as she placed the promise ring on his left ring finger. 

They climbed back up in his horse drawn carriage to consummate their promise 

Never had they made love so passionately. Never had they brought out the true feelings of a shared pain and pleasure. Never had they feared their torrid affair had gotten them into hot water with her daddy she so adored. Never had her daddy gotten on her bad side forever.

They laid up for hours making every second count. Knowing this could be their last stolen moments. Knowing she would be snatched away from that point on. Knowing he may never be able to put claim to his fair maiden. Knowing he could fell at writing and composing his music from too much pain. Who would be so heartless to the future of the music world. They finally fell asleep while pouring their souls out. 

That morning in the Ali household her mother and daddy plotted to rid La La of Platinum knowing her heart was broken. 

The Lou'a'vull Lip "She will get over him. He will get over her" so he thinks

Veronica "Yes, she will be thanking us forever for making her life suitable to our taste" so she thinks

The two sleeping lovebirds now awaken to the birds singing in their favor open their eyes to the stare of love looking at each other. Knowing she will never consummate a marriage to another man. She could only respond to the feeling he put in her. She knew this for a fact. He had nothing to worry about. Saying vows without true meaning means nothing. She will be sure to let this so called Badu know she is the next heavyweight champion of the world and if he dare touch what belongs to Platinum she will quickly destroy him herself with gladness.
