ｅｌｌｅ'ｓ ｐｏｖ

I was already five minutes late to the first day of being a junior, as my best friend is honking his horn for me to hurry up. I look through my closet and grab my leggings since I only had one pair and I throw it on. As I finished tying my shoes I get up and trip falling and scraping my knee. "Mother-" I groan in pain trying to rub my knee noticing there was a hole in it.

"NO- no no These were my only pair!" I whine as my friends honking gets louder. I run up to my closet and notice the only thing I have is low-cut booty shorts. I throw it on with vans and an xxxtentacion merch shirt, blue jean jacket that goes above my behind, great. I run out of the house waving to my mom and dad.

As I run out to the car my best friend sitting there with the most annoying trying not to laugh face. I turn and say, "wipe it off or I'll do it for you" I say putting my bag in the seat sitting down. He says "Hey- watch it remember who's driving the car" I groan and roll my eyes. He says, "Now cover up I can't drive with all that hanging-" I hit his arm laughing and saying, "ZACH DON'T START-"

We get to school and I get out of the car instantly covering myself and I turn to Zach noticing all the people staring our way. He turns and says, "They're looking at me honey, not you with your snatched weave" he flips his imaginary hair. I just reply, "Keep Dreaming Herron" and walk away to the hallway, instantly being stopped by one of deans questioning me why I was wearing my choice of clothing. They left me with a warning since it was the first day.

Three classes pass by where the teachers were basically handing out their contracts and syllabi. Fourth period class comes around and I finally see my friends from last year, Lea and Riley and they see me and they start screeching excitedly running towards me. I hug them, I'm the tallest out of my friends but I'm very short next to any of the guys.

We looked over our schedules to see what classes we have together. Lea and I only had Earth Science, Lunch and Global 4 . Riley and I had Earth Science, Lunch, and Spanish.

We walk into Earth Science, this teacher was short I tell you. She was like 4'2 well at least looked like it-

"Okay class, before you take your seats I want you to know some quick things my name is Mrs. Derizzi, and I am going to be your Earth Science teacher- this year I'm going to need your full attention because you will be taking a regents for my class-" she says looking at the laughing boys in the back, clearing her throat.

"Recently noticed some people did not do well on their test last year, I will be assigning seats in my order. You decide to come in and sit in another seat? Well-" she pulls a rolling chair from behind her and places it next to her desk. "You will be sitting right here for the rest of the year- Understood?" She says in a serious tone, a little louder.

The class groans out a yes, in a annoyed monotone. She repeats, "I Said Do You Understand Me?" We say yes in a more excited sarcastic tone.

Me and my best friends of course we got seperated, she placed my friends towards the front, same table but the front. I was placed in the back with a brown haired girl I think her name was Aspirin? Why would you name your child after a medicine. Then there was another seat next to me that was open. I guess that person was absent.

The teacher starts handing out forms that we had to fill out. I sit there looking down at the forms, not wanting to fill them out I sigh and look at my friends being scholars and doing their work. They're definitely more smarter than me and had more intellectual knowledge.

I decide to start doing my work knowing that I need this to pass ugh, I start filling out the forms. Then, the door swings open startling me I look up.

"S-sorry I'm late, I had to finish some paperwork in the office-" he says turning a slight shade of red on his cheeks.

He looked away from the teacher for a slight second scanning the room as our eyes connected for a minute, he looks down then back at the teacher making my heart flutter.

I bite the inside of my cheek as I continue doing my work. The teacher says, "And you are- Mr. Besson correct? Mr. Besson take that empty seat right next to that young lady-" she returns behind the desk as he starts walking towards the chair next to me that faced away from the board towards the back.

I was scribbling away, my hair falling to the side of my face that was behind my ear. I could feel him clueless on what we were doing as he continued to try and glance at the papers. The teacher finally walked over with the papers and placed it in front of him, he thanks her.

I look up to the board for a slight second-
"Elle? Elle Marie Brighton?"
I look over to the teacher who was doing attendance, and raise my hand not fully saying "Here-" she looks up and writes something on her clipboard.

My cheeks fluster red, I never liked my full name. I always thought it was too much, standing out. I look down playing with my fingers as I hear, "you know you got a really beautiful name-" I look up to see the boy referred to 'Besson' smiling.

I stutter out slightly smiling, "Thanks, I'm Elle- well you already heard the rest of my name" I slightly giggle. He chuckles and smiles putting his hand out, saying "Corbyn, Corbyn Besson" I smile at his name and say, "That's a unique name I like it." He smiles and says, "Thanks, hey I wanted to know-" the bell rings cutting him off.

We both stand up at the same time and I say, "Well uhm-" he says, "Hopefully I'll see you around?" he grabs one strap from his bag putting it on and I nod and say, "For Sure" I smile and he returns the smile turning around leaving the classroom.

I bite the inside of my cheek as I meet up with my two friends outside of the classroom, I couldn't stop thinking about him. I walk around the wall that seperated the hallway and staircase and I lean against it waiting for my friends. I look up to see him with Zach and three other guys, our eyes connect again, I push my hair behind my ear. He smiles, I do a small wave and smile before being dragged off by my two friends to Lunch.

|Yeah, that was it for this chapter took me a while. I'm gonna try and write the next one but it's gonna take some time because I don't have WiFi where I am so hopefully :) BYEEE
