MEANING OF SONG
Raised in Antigua, Au/Ra gained popularity with singles 'Concrete Jungle' and 'Outsiders'. Now she's back with the beautifully anxious gem 'Panic Room'. Taking a darker turn, it omits a much more ominous atmosphere than previous work, complimenting the lyrical content like a full bodied Merlot with roast beef. Au/Ra takes care not to fall into the trap of overtly abstract lyrics, using a more literal approach to portray emotions of fear and anxiety: "Welcome to the panic room, where all your darkest fears are gonna come for you". What yields an extremely well produced track, it seems Au/Ra is ready to take her music to the next level.
