Our story is about a town, a small town, and the people who live in the town. From a distance, it presents itself like so many other small towns all over the world Safe.Decent.Innocent.Get closer, though, and you start seeing the shadows underneath. The name of our town is Riverdale. And our story begins, I guess, with what the Blossom twins did this summer. On the Fourth of July, just after dawn, Jason and Cheryl Blossom drove out to Sweetwater River for an early morning boat ride.
The next thing we know happened for sure is that Dilton Doiley, who was leading Riverdale's Boy Scout Troop on a bird watching expedition, came upon Cheryl by the river's edge. Riverdale Police dragged Sweetwater River for Jason's body, but never found it. If he is dead, Hell, I hope in those last moments he suffered. May Jason Blossom burn in hell. So a week later, the Blossom family buried an empty casket and Jason's death was ruled an accident, as the story that Cheryl told made the rounds. That Cheryl dropped a glove in the water, and Jason reached down to get it, and accidentally tipped the boat, and panicked, and drowned. As for us, we were still talking about the "July Fourth tragedy" on the last day of summer vacation, when a new mystery rolled into town. Now brace yourself.

For me change was always somewhat easy, I had moved from The small town of Riverdale to Scottland to live with my grandparents after my mother tragically died and my dad moved to the southside for whatever reason he had.

I packed my suitcases filled with clothes and photos of me and my grandparents into the back of their old rusty car taking a moment to look back over the fields filled with cows and crops growing just behind the homey looking cottage. Sighing I grabbed my last suitcase and opened the back door, the old metal heap creaking as I do so.

------------------------------------------------------TIME SKIP------------------------------------------------------------

The plane ride was filled with sleep, sleep and then some texting. I don't have any social media because most of the time I wouldn't be able to post things because I'm always around criminals and working as a profiler plus I don't have any friends or any people that would be willing to talk to me anyway.

Its always been hard for me to socialize especially after my mother died and my dad moved away from our little house on the north side of Riverdale, which is where I'm headed to now my old childhood town, the town of Riverdale that always seemed to attract some strange people and always seemed to hold its own secrets. The place where Jason Blossom a rich boy seemed to have drowned which seemed highly unlikely due to the circumstances of his death.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I first stepped foot on the ground of Riverdale I couldn't have guessed that the Blossom boy was murdered as almost everything was normal, most people were out smiling and you could hear cars passing by.

I waved down a taxi and asked them to drive to the address of my old house, I would be living there alone for now until I either decided to go back to Scottland or back to my main office at California where I first got my profiler job. It was the last day of summer vacation for the Riverdale high students and tomorrow I was going to be the new girl but I wasn't going to worry about that right now I was going to worry about how I was going to board up the broken windows to the old looking house and where I was going to go to eat tonight.

After cleaning up all the cobwebs in the house and boarding up the broken windows with some wood I found outside in the overgrown grass I finally decided to go and see if one of my favorite food places was still open so that I didn't starve before school tomorrow. As I was walking I decided to pull out my expensive camera and take a few photos that I would somehow use to make a map to help me around the town and possibly help me to get my head around which one of these seemingly innocent people may have killed the Blossom boy on the 4th of July.

As I was walking I finally came to the food place I was originally looking for, Pops, one of my favorite places to go as a child they had the best burgers and chocolate milkshakes in the whole town of Riverdale at least that was what I thought. As I walked through the doors a little bell dinged making a few people raise their heads, I lowered my head as I walked to the counter not at all liking any of the attention I was being given and when I finally reached the counter I realized I had to look up at the man at the counter to be able to say my order.

"what can I get for you little miss?" he asks kindly "just a burger and chocolate milkshake, for now, thank you," I reply quietly. The man nodded and I decided to go and slide into the booth at the end of the store without looking up to see if anyone was sitting in the booth. I heard the little taps stop when I sat down and I look up to see where the sound was coming from, a boy about my age was sitting in the same booth looking up at me. "Nice crown dude it really suits your eyes," I chuckle out, the boy looks at me confused for a second then notices that my hand is outstretched for him to shake he looks at my hand then back up at me still confused about who I was. That was when I realized that I hadn't even introduced myself so I spoke out quickly, "where are my manners, my name is Cora, Cora Lynx it's nice to meet you, stranger."

He looks at me again then takes my hand and shakes it replying sort of hesitantly, "Jughead Jones" "Well jughead you just made yourself the acquaintance of one the most awesome people in the whole world," I bark out while he looks at me with a small smile. That was when my order finally came to the table I thanked the man that gave me my food then turned back to Jughead.

"Now you can't get rid of me because I am better than most people here already," I say cockily he quirks an eyebrow but smiles and says, "well you are more interesting than most people here and I wouldn't mind seeing more of you around" I smile while taking a sip of my milkshake.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After eating and getting to know Juggie a bit more I decided that it was probably time for me to go home. "Hey Jug I think I'm gonna go now it is getting late and I have my first day tomorrow," I say tiredly with a small yawn at the end of my sentence "Well I could walk you home if you want," Juggie responds and I nod while standing up leaving some money under my mug on the table.

A/N- Holo my people I didn't get any inspiration for my other stories and I recently started watching Riverdale so I decided to write about Riverdale.
