The Farmhouse

A Ghost.. May be !!

Manik POV:

Finally I am going back to my Mumbai. I am very happy as finally I am going to meet my family after two years. Me and Cabir boarded into flight, being sleepy head he slept immediately once he got into flight. I am just listening to music and looking outside at clouds and sun rays passing through clouds. We, Fab 5 decided to release one album once we are back as its been long time and our fans are eagerly waiting for our songs. Next day we landed in Mumbai and my family and Mukti, Alya and Dhruv are waiting for us.

As expected my mom started scolding me for becoming thin though I am not, ahh these mothers... I smiled and said "Mumma, anyway I am here na I will eat now my Jaan made food, so dnt worry I will become like dumbu". She pinched my ear and said chal Nautanki, if you don't eat then anyway I will not leave you both. With that me and Cabir packed luggage into car and moved to Malhotra mansion.

After having lunch, me and Cabir went to sleep due to jet lag and our friends left to their respective works as we decided to meet next day for album discussion. After some time I heard soft knock on my door, I said "come in". My mom came in to call for dinner, I said "mumma I am not hungry now, If I feel hungry later in night I will go and eat something, you go and sleep". She left with that and I got little surprised as my mom didn't say anything and just left. I brushed off my thoughts and got fresher up and just lied on bed. After 10 min my mom again came with milk and I started making faces as I dont like milk, my mom showed her big eyes and I just closed my nose and drank milk at once. Later I kept my head on my mom lap and started sharing everything that we missed when I am not here. Though we talk daily on phone we still have so much to discuss. My mom is very close to me and I share everything with her even the girls those propose to me.

Next Morning I got up at 6 AM and went for jog. While coming back i saw my mom in kitchen making aloo paratha. I smiled and moved towards kitchen said good morning to my mom and went to wake Cabir. Later we all had breakfast and dad went to office and mom went to NGO as she has to attend some meeting. Later Fab 5 came to Malhotra mansion and started discussing on Album.

Manik: Guys, we will make total 3 songs in our new album. We will make songs on first love this time, what say ?

Cabir: Oh First love!!! Did i miss something Manik, I mean suddenly you started taking about love.. its strange anyhow I am always ready for love.

Manik glared at Cabir and ignored his taunt. Dhruv and Alya were fine the concept but Mukti said "Manik, you know right I seriously don't believe in this love and all, may be I cannot give my 100 % in this"

Manik: Trust me Mukti, we will all work together and make Album.

Finally everyone agreed on concept.

Cabir: What I am thinking is shall we all go to somewhere and make music?

Alya: yeah its good idea, but where ?

Cabir: there is one new farmhouse that my mom purchased which is 50 Km from Mumbai, which is in forest, we can go there, what say ?

Everyone agreed to it and left for the day.

Later that day during dinner, Manik informed about album and going farmhouse to his parents and they have agreed to it.

Raj: When are you leaving?

Manik: Tomorrow night dad

Raj: Okay, after coming back you are joining office right ?

Cabir: Yes uncle, you don't worry, now you can plan for your honeymoon and winked at neyonika.

Manik's mom hit Cabir on his shoulder and said Shameless.

Next day we went to a farm house. By the time we reached it was night, and everyone left to room to take rest for some time and decided to meet for dinner. It is four bedroom farmhouse, everyone took one room and Dhruv and Alya took one room. After dinner we enjoyed a lot partying, remembering our old times and teasing each other. It was already late night when we slept. In the middle of the night I heard a voice but I am too tired and just ignore it returned to sleep.

Next day we got up and had our breakfast and started working on Album. We made set up in garden and started playing some music. While singing I felt some one watching us and when I turned towards that direction I saw a shadow passing through trees but when I looked around there is no one. Later we are completely involved in music so I forgot about that.

That evening we all are tired by swimming and returned to bed after dinner. In the middle of the night I heard that voice, first I ignored and slept then I heard the voice again. I got up and looked around but no one was around but I am hearing voice; it's a faint voice crying "I want help!". I checked the house to find all my friends sleeping and thought it's just my imagination. When I was about to sleep I heard that voice clearly crying aloud "I want help, please help me." 

I looked through the window and there I saw somebody standing. I opened the balcony door and went around seeing a girl weeping. I stood there shocked as anyone of us don't know a girl living around the area since it is empty except for farmhouse and she looked like some college girl. No girl at this time of night will come to a place like this alone. I don't know what to assume about her as I thought the voice I heard before is hers and it is definitely not my imagination as she stood here now in front of me and when she saw me she lifted her head and looking me painfully and said "Please! I want help". I thought of waking Cabir but decided against it thinking he will think I am crazy. So I stood there and asked "What's wrong? Who are you?" .
