Sad Chapter

Angie POV-

I was in a room and I was scared half to death. I don't know what they are going to do to me! The last thing I remember was seeing Marcus crying as they told him to leave. A man walked in with a electrical stick and a whip on the side. The only thing going through my head was if I was going to live or not. He took a step closer and I could not move. I was tied to a chair.

"What is one rule in this place" he asked walking in around me.

"Don't leave," I managed to say.

"And what did you do?" He said turning on the stick.

I knew what was about to happen so I looked down and held my breath. I felt him hit my with the stick in the arm and it left a burn mark.

"Will this ever happen again?" He asked standing in front of me.

"What?" I replied not hearing what he said the first time.

He kept hitting me with the stick then had 2 other people help. When they finished I could not move. I was crying in pain and they laughed and made jokes about me. The boss came in the room and looked at me

"Throw her in a cell and continue the punishment tomorrow." He said.

His voice was deep and her was tall. It we cold the whole night. I fell a sleep finally. It was the next morning and they did the same thing as yesterday. They did that foe a week then stopped. I couldn't move one part of my body. It was the middle of the night and I could not sleep. I was cold hurt and I couldn't do anything about it. I passed out.

Marcus POV-

It was morning and woke up to see everyone eating breakfast. I sat down next to Lucas and realized Darius was not here. 

"Where's Dari?" I asked.

"He went somewhere," Lucas said.  

It has been almost two weeks since Angie got taken. We all finished eating and I sat in my room looking at roof. The next thing I heard was Dari asking mom for help. He sounded worried and my moms voice was in a scared tone. I wanted to know what was going on so I went over to them. Darius was carrying Angie and it looked like she wasn't breathing. She was covered in scratches, burn marks, and blood. I went in to Lucas's room crying and he walked up to me.   

"What's wrong bro?" Lucas asked me looking me dead in the eyes.

"Angie's back" I said crying.

"Why aren't you happy?" he said confused. 

He grabbed my arm and brought me to the living room. Darius put Angie on the couch and my mom got a chair and sat there next to her. I froze, I didn't know what to say and Lucas tried to calm me down. It like the things my mom told me and my brothers when I was little. You don't know you really love them till their gone. Lucas brought me back to his room and Hayley went to go help. 

"I'm sorry you had to see that," Lucas said hugging me.

"You remember when we were little, mom told us something from a story?" I asked Lucas. 

"You don't know you love them till they are gone" Lucas said.

"Yea" I replied.

"She will be ok Marcus, I promise" Lucas answered starting to cry a little.

He hated seeing me sad and I don't like seeing him sad. We sat in his room for a little. Hayley walked in and she looked at me. 

"Shes awake," she said looking at me.

I looked at Lucas and he told me to go. I got up and went to the living room. My mom got up and went to the kitchen. So did everyone else. Lucas pat my back and went to the kitchen with Hayley. 

"How are you feeling?" I asked her hopeing she wouldn't mind.

"I can't move" she replied.

"What did they do?" I looked at the burn mark on her face and the bruise on her neck.

"I don't remember" she started to cry.

I grabbed her hand and I kissed her. I was never in this condition after what they did.

"Am I going to die?" She asked me with tear rolling down her cheeks. 

Hearing that made me cry and I didn't know what to say. I wanted to find the jerks that did this to her but I can't risk it.

 "No, you wont." I replied and let go of her hand.

I moved the hair out over her face and gave her another kiss. 

"Just get some rest, you'll feel better tomorrow." I said moving my hand away from the big burn mark on
