Child of Mine

Orphan no more?!

[Updates are slow going for everything I'm writing due to my muse runing away and life kicking me in the butt.]

The children in the academy didn't believe Naruto when he spoke of his family. He was an orphan, the teachers all said, its just his wishful thinking.

They were wrong.

Adult and student alike were frozen in shock as Naruto was lead to school by a tall blonde man and an even taller black haired man. The student's were confused at the change of the ex-orphans hair color, though at the time none of them thought much of it.

"Now Kuro-pu"

"Stoping calling me that!"

"- and I will be back to pick you up this afternoon. Monoka you be sure to keep an eye on him."

The white haired bunny...thing smiled and gave them a salute from his perch atop Naruto's head.

"Yoooou got it! Monoka will make sure we don't get into too much trouble."

"How about no trouble." The red eyed man muttered under his breath.

"We'll be good dad, I won't even prank Iruka sensei today." Naruto said quietly as he figgited a bit. The man, his dad, rolled his eyes and offered a small smile.

"Just be sure to kick a couple of asses if you do any practical work."

The blond man giggled as he bent down and kissed Naruto's cheek.

"A little mischief is good once in a while."

Naruto smiled widely as he, and everyone in the area, watched his parents head off.

Syaoran sighed as he set down another book that held no important information. He was within the public library searching through the villages history books.

They had decided to split up the investigation. Syaoran would look at the history of the world they were in to see if it held any sort of useful information. Kurogane would safe guard the apartment, as well as listen in on the gossip around the village. Fai would investigate every ninja compound, every mission file, and every hidden place to see if there was anything on who did what to whom. Mokona had the task of keeping Naruto company while they were away and making sure no one would come near him.

Picking up another book he began his search once more.

Kurogane and Fai walked away from the academy building shoulder to shoulder. They did not look anywhere except in front of them. Fai reached out and just barely brushed his fingers against the skin of Kurogane's human hand.

"The ground bellow is hollowed out, there are a lot of people under there. I'm going to go down there today."

Kurogane nodded an agreement to the whispered words and spoke a bit louder then Fai had.

"I'm going to fix up the apartment, probably break the wall down between it and another appartment to make room for all of us."

Fai looked at him with a wide smile and teasingly brushed his lips against the others cheek.

"Have fun Kurga-burger!"

Kurogane swiped at the blond with his shiethed sword, the barest hint of a blush against his cheeks as he shouted.

"STOP CALLING ME THAT!"

Fai easily dodged and skipped away while laughing.

Kurogane grumbled to himself as he went to look for some sort of supply store.

"Naruto....what happened to your hair and what is that on your head?" Iruka asked with a confused frown. The entire class was staring at the boy, had been since he arrived with his parents in tow. Mokona pointed at the tanned teacher.

"Mokona isn't a what! Mokona is Mokona!"

Iruka, who had not witnessed the event earlier, was suprised.

"I-Im sorry!"

"Ah thats ok, I'll let it go since you're Naru' s favorite."

Naruto spoke up,
"Also my hair is black because it always was. The blond was a henge."

Iruka blinked and stared at his student with an empty look for a moment. He let out a sigh and shrugged it off before beginning the day's lesson.

Many of Naruto's classmates were not able to consintrate on the day's lesson. Many were still boggled over what they had seen that morning.

The fangirls, including one Sakura and Ino, were day dreaming about the attractive adults. Many hoping their dear Sasuke would look like the black haired man when he was older.

Said raven boy was busy contemplating how two obviously powerful people could be related to the idiot ex- blond at all.

Shikamaru and Shino were both unsurprised, both having heard Naruto talk about his family coming for him and seeing how the boy had truly believed what he said.

Hinata and Choji were both happy for Naruto. Hinata, having a crush on the boy, was glad that he now had people who cared. Choji, knowing how lonely his friend was, was glad that he no longer had to worry about him being alone when they weren't there with him.

Kiba was very confused. He could tell by their scent that the two men were Naruto's parents. However he could not think of how such a thing could be possible since they are, as stated before, both men.

Mizuki still hated the fox brat, and was trying not to let his anger show. He wouldn't have a chance at getting to the kid now that those people had claimed him.

Danzo was still stuck with his old teammates, trying to come up with a solution to the Fox family problem. As busy as he was he did know that someone had infiltrated his root hideout. None of the alarms he had set went off, none of his ninja came to him to report, the chaos he would find at his return would keep him busy for days.

Far away in another dimension Watanuki and his Mokona watched the events unfold as they snacked on popcorn.
