Chapter 16 | Friendship

Lisa's POV:

I arrived at the café first, asking the waitress to give us a table away from everyone else.

Tuzyu said they were preparing their first album and were expected to comeback sometime around October so they must be why they are working hard and without many breaks.

They have so many comebacks sometimes I wish we were from JYP.

I know it's a lot of work for the girls but if we were able to survive trainee life we can handle everything, especially if it's what we were trained to do: work hard to have the perfect music and performance.

Because for the past few days we have been hanging out at the dorm with no schedule while all our friends have one.

I can only talk with Jungkook at night or meet him during his occasional breaks and the same goes for my Thai friends and Red Velvet.

So that leaves us bored to death and Jennie unnie almost finishing all the series that there are to watch on Netflix.

We just had a comeback but that was one single. We want to work on our album but we are not even allowed to have that creative freedom.

It's sad, working so hard to debut and then being put on the side.

As I thought about this I saw my friend entering the café and my nerves arising once again.

Please let her react well, please.

She quickly found the table that I had picked for us and sent me a smile as she saw me.

"Lisa! Hi!" She exclaimed sitting at our table.

"Hi Tzuyu! How was practice?" I asked trying to sound excited.

"It was tiring, but great! I can't wait to release our new music."

She looked tired and breathless. You could tell she had been dancing.

"You have to let me hear it one of these days!" I asked, smirking.

She shook her head while smiling,"Oh no no, these are going to be a surprise!"

What a tease.

We are not allowed to show our friends our new music, of course, since our companies sees them as competition. What we didn't know was that everyone does it.

We secretly record the songs while in practice and share it with others, we couldn't care less about companies or competition, we are friends.

We only do it with people we really trust, obviously, but Blackpink, Twice and Red Velvet do it all the time.

It's fun to hype up our friends.

"I have to admit I'm surprised by your call, what did you need to tell me so urgently? We usually plan stuff a few days away..." She asked, her face showing a little bit of worry.

Okay, this is it, just spill it out.

"I just needed to talk to you about something..." I started

Oh god I'm so nervous.

"Yes..."

I take a deep breath, "Tzuyu, we weren't completely honest with you the last time we were together and I'm taking full responsibility over it. Our friend's were just trying to cover up for me."
