Chapter 26

I open my eyes and I see Shawn sits next to me.

Shawn: "Hey, what happened? Are you okay?"

Chloe: "Yeah, I passed out, I guess."

Shawn: "You scared me, please don't drink anymore."

Chloe: "Why do you care? I drink if I want to and you smoke if you want to!"

Shawn: "It's not the same thing"

Chloe: "It is!"

Shawn: "Okay, get some rest, I'll be right back."

Chloe: "Okay"

I fall asleep after 10 minutes.

When I wake up I see that there is no one anymore, only Shawn and his family. I'm sweating and I don't know why, so I decide to sit by the pool and put my feet in the water.

Shawn sits next to me,

Shawn: "How are you?"

Chloe: "I'm good, I'm sorry if I've ruined your party, I should've stay home."

Shawn: "You didn't ruin anything. Honestly, it was pretty fun and we took a lot of photos."

He shows them to me. I push him in the water.

Shawn: "I hate you"

Chloe: "Liar"

He tries to grab my foot and I accidently fall in the pool too. We start laughing.

We're face to face. He's looking right into my eyes. He puts his hands on my hips. He's staring at my lips. My heart is pounding.

Suddenly, his mother arrives.

Karen: "Hey guys, what happened?"

Shawn: "Nothing, I accidently fell in the pool and she's helping me."

Karen: "Come inside, it's getting chilly out here."

His mother goes inside.

Shawn: "Uh let's go inside?"

Chloe: "Yeah..."
