Which Way's What? | Naruto Fanfic

Chapter One

*Rin's POV*
I slowly open my eyes, only to close them straight away.
Stupid lights... always trying to blind me. Or was that the sun..?

"Zabuza-san, she's waking up" I hear a voice. Male. Definitely male... unless it's a girl with a very deep voice, if so IM SORRY MAN-VOICE-LADY!

"'Bout time. It's been a week since she ran into me." I'm guessing that was 'Zabuza-San' who said that.

I opened my eyes again and came face to face with a girl- WAIT NO THAT WAS THE BOY.

"Ohayo, I'm Haku and this is Zabuza-san. How are you feeling?" The girly-man (now known as Haku) introduced.

"..." I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out.

"..." I tried again but had the same result.

"Here," Haku said, "just write down your answers". He handed me a pen and small black leather-bound book.

"I feel fine... I think" I wrote.

"Do you remember anything?" Zabuza-san asked.

I put my finger to my chin in thought... My family. The clan. Uncle Taika challening my father. My mother telling me to run as she was killed. Not knowing what happened to my brother...

I started to tear up at the memory of what happened.

"Hey, hey, hey no. Stop that. Haku, why are her eyes leaking?" Zabuza-san hurriedly exclaimed.

I try to hold back the tears, but a big sob left my mouth and i was done for. I absolutely fell apart. I'm never going to see my family again... I'll never be able to hug my father, never get to train with my brother is secret. I'll never get to eat my mother's amazing cooking... Everything is gone. So why am I still here?

Haku looked at me worriedly, then looked at Zabuza-san, then back at me. Next thing I knew I was being embraced in a warm hug. Haku held me while I cried and when i finally stopped he looked me in the eye.

"It's ok. There's nothing you need to worry about," he smiled, "come with us. I'm sure Zabuza-san wouldn't mind." He looked back to the man wrapped in bandages.

"Sure, why not. If she annoys me or gets in my way," he raised his gigantic sword in my direction, "I'll just kill her." The cow-pants started to cackle as he slung his sword over his shoulder and began to walk away.

"Come. Lets go"

"Oh, I never got your name," Haku said.

"Rin... Rin Takafumi" I write.

"What a beautiful name" he smiled.

I smiled back as we followed Zabuza-san.

Maybe this is why I'm still here...

Sooooooooooo sorry for the ages in between chapters. But all is good. All is good. I just finished all my highschool assessmwnt and graduatiom is next Friday... Im so close to getting out of here I cant wait omgg. Im going to uni next year to study secondary education... yeah i wanna be an english teacher... maybe Ill study im America for a year or two.. who knows... anyway.....
