"Im sorry.. we did our best.. but she didnt make it" as those words left the doctors mouth all of their worlds started to fall apart

Y/N's mother couldnt help but cry as she was told about her daughter passing away.. which broke her heart

Y/N's brother desperately tried to calm her by hugging her and pulling her towards his chest for comfort where she continued to cry

Hyunjin felt numb.. he couldn't believed his best friend.. the love of his life.. was gone.. she left him..

His eyes became watery as he bit his lower lip trying his best not to cry as he glanced on the tape she has given him days before the incident

"Hey hyun!" Y/N called cheerfully towards Hyunjin who was busy playing the guitar while sitting under the tree

"What is it?" He asked as he stopped playing and put the guitar aside as he watched Y/N walk towards him before sitting down next to him

"Well.. dont take this the wrong way okay? My friend dared me to do this! So" she trailed off as she started to rummage inside her bag looking for something making hyunjin curious

"What are you looking for?" He wondered as he peeked over her shoulder but sadly he couldn't see anything yet

"Ah ha! Found it" she pulled out a black cassette tape who had the words "goodbye" written on it which made hyunjin feel something was wrong

"Here! Now im gonna ask you.. NEVER listen to this unless something happened to me or if i died okay? Promise?" She asked straightforwardly as she raised her pinky

Hesitantly hyunjin accepted the pinky promise but he knew something was up

"Y/N.... what's the meaning of this?" Hyunjin asked as his brows knit in confusion as he held up the tape

"I told you it-" hyunjin cut her off since he knows her too damn well for her to try to lie to him

"Y/N i know you, so you cant lie to me.. whats wrong? Whats with this? Goodbye?" I asked but what startled me was what happened next

The cheerful eyes that he fell in love with, grew watery and were filled withe sorrow

The happy smile that he fell fond with faded and was now replaced by a frowning and shivering one

The happy girl he once knew.. was now in front of him.. now broken and confused

"I'm not happy hyun.. and no one knew... no one helped me" her voice cracked as she started to sob and automatically hyunjin pulled her to a hug

"Oh Y/N" he muttered as he comforted her as she sob onto his chest

Hyunjin went home.. tired and sad

He went to his room before plopping down on his bed and let the tears he held earlier fall out

"y/n im sorry.. im so sorry" hyunjin cried out as tears streamed down his face

As he turned to his side, the tape caught his eyes so he remembered the promise so he immediately placed it in one of the cassette players he had
