Ch.1 Mady's pov

  (Mady's pov)

   *beep *beep *beep

    I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock. Here comes another Monday. I grab my phone of the night stand and unlock it, to find that I have 3 text messages from Gen (my best friend). They Read-

  *Hey, Good morning*

  *What are u wearing today?*

  *?? What should I wear today??*

Soon after laughing quietly to myself at how much Gen was freaking out, I called her.

    "Hey, Good Morning" She says sounding panicked

    "Hey, CHICÀ" I reply

    "I don't know what to where today!"  She says

     "Well then wear something comfortable yet dressy" I casually say

      "Thanks, see you soon" She answers

     "This is so weird, I'm usually the one calling for help on outfits haha" I say

      "Hahaha I'll be there soon" She ends the call

 

  I walk to the closet and picked out a pair of mint green high-waisted shorts,  and a white crop top with some vans. After taking a good look at my outfit I walk to the bathroom and get ready. Everyday after I get ready, I take a look in the mirror to make sure that I look presentable. My outfit looked nice, but most of my good clothes were packed for the traditional Senior class trip to California. Which I couldn't be more excited about.

    I wasn't sure why all the girls at Foltenberg High School tried to look their best everyday including me, because most of the boys fell into one out of three categories 1.Geek, 2. Hot and taken, or 3. Hot and mean. But there were a few date worthy ones. But we all know that they are way out of our league. All the cute boys went to different schools which was never fair.

     I run downstairs and into the kitchen "Bye, Mom I love you." I say as I am running towards the door.

"Hold on, you need to eat breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day honey" She lectures "ok, ok! fine" I whine back. I grab an apple and sit down at the table to eat it. After finishing I hear a loud *beep.

   "Ok mom I really have to go now I'm going to be late, and don't forget that Gen and I are going to the mall today after school." I say making sure that she hears me. "Bye, sweetie" She replies

    

  I walk out the front door to Gen's car,  which was a black jeep that her parents recently got her for her 18th birthday. I have my license but it made more sense to take one car since we are going to the same place.

    I open the door and scoot in the car. Gen turns to me and shines her bright smile "Good Morning CHICÀ,  thanks for the help this morning" She says "Anytime, are you ready for the mall today" I ask "Yes actually I'm really excited, and I don't know why hahahhaha" She giggles

 

  The entire drive was filled with us singing song after song on the radio, "I'M SO FANCY, YOU ALREADY KNOW" We both sing a little too loud

  When we arrive at school we go our separate ways,  and meet up during lunch. After lunch we both head to chemistry and by the end of the day we both need a break, so the second the bell rings we walk out of school and head straight to Gen's car.

 

   On the way to the mall we talk about how excited we are for our trip to Cali, and we try our best to plan all of our free time so we can do everything. 

       When we arrive at the mall we both are feeling very confident and we walk towards the mall preparing for our window shopping. We enter the mall and both immediately crave Chipotle, so we walk towards the food court. After our delicious meal we decide to go to Victoria Seceret for free perfume samples so that we no longer smell like burritos.

  

On the way to VS we walk past a group of 5 or 6 guys who look around our age (18). Three of them look very familiar and one of them stops me and says "Madison.....and Genevieve is that you?" He asks , Soon after it registers that it's Ashton from middle school, OMG he is soo HAWTT now, puberty has done him well! "Ashton?....wow I can't believe this" I say sounding very shocked. As soon as I say that two more of the boys turn around and they are not to bad looking either, I then realize it's Calum and Jake. "Mady...hey remember us, how have you guys been lately?"  Callum asks "Good, what school do you guys got to now?" I politely ask "oh, well we are about to graduate from Washington" He answers, I could have guessed that Washington is where all the cute boys go. "Oh I heard that was a really good school." I assume "Ya, well I guess it's been ok there, but the great thing is you make so many friends" he says "That's good, well we have to go, it was really nice seeing all of you guys again" I end the conversation because I can tell it's going no where. "It was great seeing you guys too, here's my number, hit me up sometime if you guys wanna hang out" he suggests "thanks I definitely will haha" I say nervously.

  We say our goodbyes and walk into VS and spray ourselves with the sweet smells of roses, vanilla, and daisys. We walk out of VS to find a bench overlooking the mall so we go and sit. We talk for awhile "I heard that in California you can......" Gen just stops mid sentence and is staring out into the distance. I look in the direction that she is and I too find myself staring. I bet we look so dumb right now but I don't even care, I see this boy who has caremal brown hair, he's tall and he is wearing Black vans, khaki pants, and a grey sweatshirt with some logo that I can't make out from the distance.  I pull myself out of my stalker gaze and see that this beautiful boy,  has a friend with him who has caught Gen's eye.  I slowly fall back into my gaze.......

    Until I look over and see Gen running towards the stairs, I quickly run after her, when I catch up to her she gets faster so I start to sprint. When she stops right in front of the boy I'm not surprised. But I can not stop I keep going and going and I'm trying to slow down, but before I can stop I run directly into the boy that I was just staring at. He catches me and it takes me awhile to catch my breath. "um...are you ok?" he asks, and oh my is his voice not perfect. I look up and I am alot closer to his face then I thought, I try to pull away but it already happened. We kissed , right then was probably the most embarrassing moment of my life I quickly got up. "I'm sooo sorry, I didn't mean.." I am cut off bye him "it's fine, i know that it was an accident,  but I don't mind" he giggles and bites his lip. OMG YASSS, and I notice that his eyes are beautiful and make him that much more attractive.  "Haha, I'm Madison but people call me Mady" I laugh "My name is Sam" he replies "Thank you for not letting me fall on my face" I smile "That would've been a shame" he says, we just sit there smiling at each other, until I realize that Gen is still there.

   I turn to my left to find her sitting on the bench with the guy she was staring at before. He hands her a piece of paper and walks over to us. "Here have my number,  I want to see you sometime" Sam says and smiles a very bright welcoming, and cute smile. "thanks, it was nice falling on you" I giggle "it was nice catching you" he bites his lip again and I just couldn't sit there anymore, it was to much. I say hi to Cameron ( just found out Gen's guys name is Cameron) and walk over to Gen.

     "Let's go we have alot to talk about hahahaha" I say, clearly blushing "Same here" Gen laughs

    We drive back to my house and decide that Gen should spend the night, so we stay up all night talking about Sam, and Cameron.............
