It was almost 2 in the morning and Sollux was fighting the temptation to laugh at his matesprite of 3 months. Sollux was trying to fall asleep by taking the advice of John who'd said "Fake it 'till you make it" in regards to getting some shut-eye. Karkat had changed their binge of the human show, "The Big Bang Theory" to "Troll The Little Mermaid". Sure, everyone likes a little classic troll Disney, but this was too great! Karkat sang along quietly to each song as not to wake his suspected sleeping partner and he cried at every downwards turn even though he knew this movie better than he knew the back of his hand.
Finally, the yellow-blooded troll decided it was high time to "wake up". Sollux mocked groggy groans and pretended to stretch underneath the blanket that Karkat had draped over him. Karkat was quick to change back to their binge show and acted like nothing happened.
"II diidn't know you had 2uch an anffiiniity for cla22iic troll Di2ney, KK" Sollux commented chuckling afterward and sending Karkat into a panicked rage filled with lots of "fuckass"es and an extra emphasis on how much of a bulgelicking nookstain Sollux was. He also went into a detailed explanation on why it was completely reasonable for a guy his age to be watching troll Disney, after all he was only 6 solar sweeps old an-
Before he could even get halfway through his embarrassment induced rant, Sollux cut him off with a short but sweet kiss.
"Just shut up and sleep already" Sollux grumbled, pulling Karkat to lay down, head on Sollux's chest. Soon enough, Karkat lights out, Sollux following suite.
