A few heads shot up when the door opened, Eben and Tyler.
"Lexus?" Eben asked, standing up and I walked to give him a hug.
"Evan!"
"The boys didn't tell me you were coming!" Eben smiles, letting me go out of the hug.
"Speaking of them, where are they? I think Lex should know." Christina said from the door, stopping behind me.
"On stage, sound check." Tyler answered and I flashed him a quick smile and wave.
I rushed through a door and started down the hall. It was a narrow hallway, white tile on the floor and walls painted a dark blue. I heard loud music stopping and starting, plus singing, from farther down. Running the best I could in wedges, I rounded the corner to side stage, which was large and had wooden floors.
I saw Zach first, he was on stage, nodding his head to the music. Jonah was singing his part in These Girls, he switched places quickly with Zach. I rushed towards them faster, my sneakers patting against the flooring. Jonah turned his head to examine the noise, and smiled when he saw me.
I skipped up two steps at a time, reaching the stage and swiftly wrapping the boy in a hug, twisting both of us in the process. The action got the attention of Jack and Zach, who ran over to join us in a hug. Me and Jonah were rocking back and forth, his arms wrapped around the small of my back, and his head nuzzled into my shoulder.
Zach wrapped his arms around me to and kissed the side of my head, smiling all through it. Jack doing the same, resting his head in my curled hair and breathed out a sigh.
I could see Corbyn and Daniel in the corner of my eye, they looked at each other with a grin before dropping their mics, the music to 'These Girls' still playing. Daniel scooped me up in his arms from my backside, and set his head on mine. Corbyn squeezed his way through the tangled limbs, and gave me tightest hug out of the five.
"Hey." Jonah simply said when all the boys let go and we sat there, looking at each other.
"Hi." I responded, giving him another side hug, to which he kissed the top of my head.
"Wow, you're really here." Corbyn beamed, his attitude infectious in this moment.
"Hell yeah she is." Ariana laughed, walking up the stairs, catching the attention to Jack, who she was closest too.
She smiled at the curly haired boy and ran quickly to give him an embrace. When they pulled away, Jack held her face in his hands and they exchanged a smile.
In a quick moment, I switched my side hug to Corbyn next to me, him wrapping his arm around my waist.
Jack took their moment, to slowly bring their lips together, sharing their, first of many more, kisses.
"Oh my." I giggled, making the other four boys chuckle too.
"Wow, why don't you greet my like that, Zach." Daniel complained, to busy teasing to notice Corbyn wrapping both his arms around me, pulling me into his chest.
Jack pulled away and smiled again at the girl, who was blushing furiously, and laid his head on hers.
Jonah and Tatum shared the same reunion, less full of lust, more gentle.
"Wow, feeling pretty single right about now." Aspen complained, joining the crew on the stage, Jack the only one cringing at her entrance.
None of the boys answered, just shifting in their spots.
"Excuse me, Jonah, Jack, Corbyn, get off my girlfriends." Gabbie warned walking up the stairs, joining Aspen.
"Hate to break the mood, but Tyler says to get back to soundcheck." Christina informs, making Corbyn heave a breathe from deep inside his chest.
I looked up at him and smiled, watching as he observed the rest of the group, before looking back down at me. He smiled and kissed the corner under my eye, and we reluctantly let go of each other.
