Chapter 1

Vince was the popular kid at his class

A lot of people approach him for advice on certain subjects or help with projects and other stuff

Right now he is currently sitting with his friends Carl and Juan in a circle together holding their phones

They were playing an online mobile battle royale game together on their break

Juan: Hey Vince do you have any extra bullets for the AK?

Vince: Um... I think there were some in the upstairs

Juan: Can you watch me as I check there might be a sniper nearby

Carl: Guys theres another group just southwest of our position, not sure how many they are

Vince: Juan do you have any other guns? It might be risky to check it now

The three of them continued to play the game which caused a few people to watch them

Classmate: Hey what are you guys playing?

Juan: Its a survival pvp game, can please leave us alone?

Juan's words were filled with annoyance and anger

Classmate: I was just asking chill dude

Juan: Just shut up

Juan looked away as he said that placing his phone down to argue with the poor soul

Carl: Guys they know we're here we need to leave

Juan didn't listen and instead was fighting

Juan: Can't you see we are busy?! Do you have common sense to tell when a group of people are so serious that they don't want to be disturbed?

Vince: Juan theres an enemy group incoming help please!

In the end Vince and Carl's character died along with Juan's which just stood

Juan: Sorry I lost my cool there

He sat down apologectically

Carl: Maybe you could just ignore other people or atleast let me or Vince entertain them?

Juan: If I did that they'll keep distracting us that we can focus

Vince: Just calm down we're lucky he didn't tell the teacher or our phones would've been confiscated

The three of them continued to make small talk while waiting for the next teacher to arrive

Meanwhile outside a girl was peeking through the window on the door looking at them

???: He's so cute!

She giggled and laughed which caused some passerbys to stare at her

She felt the stares but ignored them, until the next teacher had arrived

After the afternoon periods ended they all packed their stuff and were about to head for their respective clubs

Juan: Hey! You guys want to play together again? Our clubrooms are next to each other

Carl: Do that and the Club President will report us for using gadgets during club

Juan was annoyed at Carl's warning

Juan: Why not? We don't do anything at chess club anyways

Carl: You don't do anything at the club the rest of us play chess
